𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍,, 𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐫𝐢𝐧

the first selection was going on pretty smoothly in (name)'s opinion. he had made friends with a few guys in his team such as aryu, who was very glamorous and fashionable. he would always give (name) tips on hair care because they both had quite long hair. the other one was an absolute nervous cutie named tokimitsu.

the first time that tokimitsu and him were going to go talk to each other, tokimitsu kept on stuttering while fidgeting his fingers a lot, which was a clear sign of feeling nervous in (name)'s eyes so (name) really had to be much more gentle when he was with tokimitsu because he did not want to scare him away now did he?

but other than that, rin was carrying the entire team for the whole first selection. it was to the point that (name) was just there to follow along and be rin's midfielder. it honestly really sucked because (name) wanted to score his own goals too. yet, he did not say anything to rin and just followed along with what he said.

though every time rin scored, (name)'s burning desire to show his skills as well and score a goal increased by ten times. he was a striker, not a midfielder. he was suppose to be scoring goals rather than passing to rin all the time so that rin could score a goal. next match, (name) was sure that he will do better and score.

so now, it was time for the second selection to begin. the leftover players that were yet to be eliminated were now standing in a room together with ego's face on the large wide screen in the front of the room, explaining to them what they will be doing for the second selection of blue lock. when he was done, the screen simply glitched and went completely dark.

(name) was about to speak up to rin on what they should do since they always did everything together but, he saw rin taking a ball from the basket and shooting both of them with ease and with a stoic expression on his face as if it were nothing. the silence in the room was deafening as many were surprised on what rin just did.

but (name) just stood there, quietly watching as rin said that he had just finished with his warm up and asked for the door to be opened for him and then, rin left the room just like that. it made (name)'s blood boil on how rin left the room so quickly without him. it made him angry but he was quick to calm himself down.

taking another ball from the basket in the room, (name) quickly copied rin's move with a slightly irked expression on his face. the room was silence as well as (name) huffed and asked the door to be opened for him to leave while his (name) appeared on the large screen as well.

(name) entered a large room alone. he stood there before a ball rolled down and hit his foot, causing him to look down and stare at the football with a blank expression on his face, as if he was waiting for instructions to be given to him on what he should do next. though his attention was quickly turned when a noise was heard and then a hologram of a goalkeeper appeared.

the area around him was slowly shrinking so (name) quickly shot the ball towards the goal, making a loud beep noise and his head was turned towards the screen above the goal and the goalkeeper. it was a time limit of 90 minutes and how many goals he needed to do in order to pass the second selection's first stage. right now, he had 99 goals left to do.

(name) finally understood what he was supposed to do now after staring at the screen above the goal for a while and now, he began shooting his goals to go finish up quickly. he just wanted to get this over with right now.

soon he began to get his goals. slowly counting them, 10 goals.. 20 goals.. 30 goals.. 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and finally 100. and he probably took around a full one hour at the least to do all that. (name) soon began to walk the long hall alone, the door opened up, revealing a few other players that were already there waiting for partners probably because it was teams of three.
