I forgot how much I missed working so close to a band. Enhypen is a very hardworking and dedicated group. I've worked with them for about a week now, and have already booked them an interview on the show "Music Bank."Getting to know them has been so fun, work doesn't even feel like work.
Jay is so funny, he'll do almost anything for a laugh.
Sunghoon seems a little reserved, but I'm sure with more time he'll loosen up around me.
Sunoo is incredibly smart, and very sassy with vibrant expressions.
Jake is very friendly. He and Jungwon always sit around me while I'm working and can talk about anything and everything. When they're not busy working of course.
Ni-ki is a perfectionist, stubborn, and disciplined, but I've caught him being playful with the other boys from time to time.
Heeseung however, he's always thinking. He's very passionate– As they all are– but he always seems to have something on his mind. He seems shy around me, often asking Sunoo or Jake to ask me a question instead of coming to ask me himself.
But when our eyes meet... I don't know, I can't explain it, but... It's like electricity.
The boys are getting ready for their interview, and afterwards they're going to perform one of their songs in front of the studio audience called "Bite me." I'm pretty excited tbh.
"Crap! I'm out of hair gel!" said Sunoo. "Hey Hana!?"
I hear my name and walk into their dressing room?
"Yes? Everything okay?" I ask.
"Would you please go see if Heeseung has some extra hair gel? We use the same brand."
"Uh, Yeah. sure." I replied.
The walk from Sunoo's station to Heeseung's felt like an eternity. Why am I feeling this way? He's just a guy. A very beautiful, angelic, incredibly talented guy. SHUT UP BRAIN! I close my eyes and shake the thoughts from my mind as I walk, and suddenly I squish my nose against something soft. The sexy scent of blood orange hit my senses once again. I rub my nose and look up to see Heeseung looking down at me, his cheeks flushing.
I feel my own cheeks warm up as I try to remember why I came over to him in the first place.
"Uh, Hey...Um...Hair gel wanted to know if you had any Sunoo."
A beat of silence passed between us, and he cocked his eyebrow.
"I mean, I– Oh crap..."
He chuckles cutely, and hands me the tube of gel.
"I get what you mean," he smiles.
I quickly say thanks and hurry away, cursing under my breath at what an idiot I am.
The boys had made their way to the stage, and as I watched them from the side I felt something vibrate in my pocket. My phone was ringing. It was strange because Manager Sejin and the boys were the only ones with my new number and they were all there with me. I looked down at the screen, it was a Japanese number. Anxiety flooded my blood as I considered whether or not to answer. I decided to ignore the call and shove the phone back in my pocket.
The boys finished their interview, but the entire time they were on stage my phone continued to ring. I blocked the number, and tried to forget about it. But whomever was calling started calling from a different number. I began to tremble and my stomach tangled up in knots. No matter how many times I ignored the call, the caller would keep calling. Fear prickled the back of my throat and tears began welling up in my eyes. I knew exactly who it was, but– How did he get my number?
The boys came off stage for a break, each one of them getting a bottle of water as they congratulated themselves on a job well done. Heeseungs eyes found me again, and his smile faded into a look of concern.
"Hana?..."
He took a step toward me.
"What is it? Is something wrong?" he asked.
Jake and Sunghoon noticed too. Then Jay. Then Sunoo. Then finally Ni-ki and Jungwon. My phone just kept ringing, making me shake all over with fear.
"Hana?"
I pulled my phone from my pocket and tried to regain some composure, wiping the tears from my eyes as I walked swiftly to one of the dressing rooms.
"Excuse me, I'll be right back!" I called out, unable to hide the tremble in my voice.
Once I was alone, I swallowed thickly and watched as my phone continued to ring, praying for the courage to answer. I touched the green button, and slowly brought the phone up to my ear.
"H-Hello?" I said, quietly.
"Did you really think that I wouldn't find you?" he hissed.
My heart dropped into my stomach and I hung up immediately, smashing the phone on the ground. I stomped it repeatedly, unable to stop the terrified tears from streaming down my face.
"Hana?" Heeseung's voice was calm and comforting.
I turned to look at him, still shaking.
"What's going on?" he asked, walking over to me.
"N-Nothing, I just–"
Suddenly, I feel his arms wrap around me, pulling me into a tight hug. I stopped shaking, and for a moment I felt safe.
"Here, put this on," he said, Taking off his denim jacket and draping it around my shoulders.
"You stay in here and try to calm down. I'll come get you when we're done." he says.
He hands me his bottle of water and tells me to take small sips before sitting me down on the small couch by the door.
"Thank you," I sigh, wiping the last of the tears from my face.
"I'll be right back, okay?" he half smiles.
I nod in response and begin sipping the water, not knowing what to do or how to cope. Is Takashi here? Does he know where I am? Does he intend to hurt me again? I didn't know... All I knew was that I was in some serious trouble.
