Playing with a potter

~Chapter 3: new friend~

Later on as it got darker I made my way up to the astronomy tower where I get to actually have some alone time which is rare that I do so I tend to come up here as much as I can.

I walked through the semi quiet corridors, as it was nearly curfew, making my way up the 46 spiral stairs to my favorite place. As I got there I took it all in like I do every year. I've been coming here every night since half way through first year to get alone time. Don't get me wrong I love hanging out with my friends but every so often it's needed to be alone. I mean they are a lot to handle. To take a break from others.

Once I had taken in the atmosphere off of the tower I made my way towards the railing and sat down dangling my legs off of the edge of the tower. I pulled out a packet of cigarettes and my lighter from my pocket and took one out the packet, placed it gently between my lips and lit the end of it.

After about 2 minutes of me being sat there in silence I heard a deep voice speak to me "pansy said I would find you up here" I whipped my head around to see who was talking.

As soon as I realised who it was I smiled placing the cigarette back between my lips and inhaling deeply as he just stared at me then walked over and sat down next to me. "I didn't think you would be the smoker type potter" "well riddle I'm full of surprises" I spoke up looking out watching the sun set in a bright orange colour.

We both sat there watching the sunset when I glanced to the side noticing that he had also placed a cigarette between his lips.

All of a sudden he looked at me and asked "you got a lighter I could borrow I left mine in my dorm" I smiled and went to hand him the lighter until he placed his hand around the end of the cigarette indicating for me to light it for him.

After the sun had fully settled I looked at him watching how he inhaled the smoke and blew it out effortlessly. "You know potter, it's rude to stare. If you want it to last you can always take a photo" he said winking at me and referring to what I had said previously to him. I let out a small giggle and said "there's a party tomorrow night in the slytherin common room as a start of year thing we always do, you should totally come" "I will come with only one deal" as soon as he had finished his sentence he let out a big smirk " and what would that deal be" I said very confused.

"You. Miss Inola may potter has to be my date" I turned and looked at him in pure shock as he just smiled at me talking in his last few puffs before throwing his cigarette off the front of the tower.

I smiled and chuckled by answering him back saying "as it's your first one Mr mattheo riddle, I will do the honor" he gave me a giddy smile and stood up reaching out his hand to mine. "Let's head back shall we it's getting late and I do not want detention on my first day. Maybe my second tho" he said and I let out a laugh taking his hand and leading him down the stairs and back to the common room.

He walked me to my dorm and turned to look at me saying "goodnight Inola" I replied smiling and saying "please, call me Nola and goodnight mattheo" he smiled and let me past him to get to my dorm.

As I went to shut it I had noticed he was slowly walking away waiting until it was fully shut.

I walked into my room feeling some sort of bubbly sensation in my stomach. I brushed it off walking into my bathroom had a hot shower, washed my hair then put it in a braid to make it wavy for our first day of classes tomorrow.

I got into a small crop top and booty shorts and sat myself in bed and started to read one of my books.

After a couple hours I looked at the clock to see it was past midnight so I decided to put the book down and to get some sleep ready for tomorrow.
