~Chapter 49: the start of the end~

INOLA POV:

Our time at hogwarts was quickly coming to an end. Or maybe even our lives. Who knows.

It's the day before...

The day before disaster.
The day before cries.
The day before deaths.

The day before the war.

Me and the group were currently stood in the great hall after hours along with the whole school.

Snape (our new headteacher) had summoned the whole school for a meeting.

The tables had been moved out of the center of the room and pushed to the sides so we were all stood up. Quite intimidating to be honest.

No one had any idea what was going on but all I could think about was what is going to happen in less than 24 hours.

"Now I and presuming that all of you are wondering why I have gathered you all here at this time" Snape spoke up whilst walking forwards and standing in the middle of the room.

"You could say that" I whispered to mattheo sarcastically, who was stood behind me with his arms over my shoulders and head rested on mine. "Stop being so sarcastic love" he laughed causing me to start laughing.

"Miss Potter and Mr Riddle is something funny" Professor Snape questioned. "No sir" I said stopping myself from laughing. "Very well" he spoke back.

"Now then. It has come to my attention that Harry Potter and his 2 little companions have disappeared. If anyone and I mean ANYONE is to come in contact with either one of them or as so see them on school grounds has to report to me immediately" he snapped.

"Do I make myself clear?" He questioned. "Yes Professor" everyone said in unison.

"Very well now you are all..." he started but got shut off quickly as the great hall doors swung open.

"Harry" I gasped and felt mattheo pull me closer into his front.

Whispers spread throughout the room making my nerves increase dramatically. "Matt what is he doing here" I said looking up at him. "I don't know love. I really don't but I have a gut feeling it could start tonight" he said in a hushed voice.

It's official. The war is coming early.

"How dare you stand where he stood" my brother shouted at Snape. "Harry..." Snape started but was cut off by him. "No he trusted you and this was how you repay him" Harry snapped.

That made Snape lose it. You can see the anger rise into his eyes before he shot a speed in Harry's direction.

Luckily for Harry Professor McGonagall jumped in front of him and blocked them spells being blasted from Snape.

I watched in horror as my eyes drifted from the scene in front of me to my brothers.

I noticed he was looking straight at me and watched as he let out a deep sigh before looking to the ground. "Your fine love. He's back and safe okay" mattheo said turning me around and lifting my chin up with his hand making me look directly at him.

"I'm glad I have you" I responded with a big smile. "I'm glad I have you to amor" he said and placed a kiss onto my lips.

Just then there was a loud bang.

Oh fuck.

It's happening.

He fucking early.

Here goes nothing I guess.
