Better get your bags ready. You are about to go on a ride to a magical place.

And don't dare underestimate the magic of this place. This is a place hidden from the common view of people like your mortal simple neighbor and your horrible school bully. It's just a place known to me, you, and the few thousands of people who live within the five borders of the place.

Yea, 5. 4 walls is a way too cliche idea and I remember a promise that nothing in this will be cliche. And no, that's not just me making stuff up. It's all for real.

So, that's enough chitchat for now. Welcome to Divinity.

This is a place in the heart of people. No ordinary people. Only the greatest demigods, legacies, immortals, and various other magical creatures like satyrs, nymphs, dryads and many more.

The school has been standing firmly on the grounds of New Olympus for the last 120 years. It was basically a Greek castle, 5 floors high, with 4 30-floors high tower. And this is not all. While the castle is big from the outside, its even massive in the inside. It was big enough to fit huge soccer fields in some of the rooms of the castle. The walls were magically enchanted to fit expand whenever you wanted it to. It was basically a place existing in the umpteenth dimension.

And within this very school was more than 650 students, a huge number of magical animals, and a teaching and helping staff of at least 50. The principal, was a 3 millennium old centaur, Chiron.

This place was an abode to everyone with a trace of divinity in them, and to many of them it was their only safe haven.

To Alyssa Leah, it was her only home.

14 years old, daughter of the Roman God Minerva, Alyssa Leah had been in the School of Divines for the last 5 years. She was a history nerd and was renowned for being a lead part of the infamous Hot Soup incident. With an exceptional talent with a spear and a somehow infinite amount of knowledge on all sorts of Divine history, she was the top student of her class in the school.

Her only rival in class was the mechanical genius Axel Klein, a son of Hephaestus, and a distant legacy of Athena who has successfully pasted his name forever in the history of the school by building the legendary Chimera with all its original features completely out of mechanical parts and steel. The new robotic Chimera 2.0, as Axel liked to call it was an improved version of the original flesh and bones Chimera.

Although Axel and Alyssa were the same age, they were always foes at school. It was mainly because Axel was the only one who could take Alyssa's top position in their class. However Axel was least bothered by that as the only thing he ever wanted was to design the perfect machines that would make his father proud.

Currently both Axel and Alyssa were sitting in History class. Professor Harley was the one in charge of teaching history to the young divines. While Alyssa was sitting in the front row sitting patiently drinking in every word of Harley, Axel had found something better to do: To develop improved blueprints for his new automaton.

Axel didn't care about history. The future was the only thing he looked up to.

Alyssa had been always fascinated in history class. Despite hearing the story at least a hundred times before, she still liked to hear the same chapter on 'Origins: Downfall of the first'  again and again. The chapter lay open before her.

Origins: Downfall

The second Gigantomachy had been a severe blow on the grounds of the Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter. However the aftermaths of the battles brought by Rick Riordan's horrid ideas completely destroyed the camps. I mean how much could 2 camps take?

At the end, most of the demigods died in war. It was devastating. The war was not against titans or giants or crazy Roman emperors. It was against the mortals themselves. The mortals had found traces of divinity amongst them, and had quickly turned against them. The world governments united against the divine world. The were several battles and many lives were lost. The war went for 4 years. At first the mortals had no chance against the divines. However the gods were restricted from interfering because of the Old Rules. The divines began suffering heavy losses.

At the end of the 2nd year, Hecate's mist collapsed and the the Amazon camp fell. Then the Romans ditched their camp and joined forces with the Greek demigods. However the 4th year marked the death of few of the most capable leaders of both camps. The Greek camp fell and the few remaining demigods were forced to flee.

Unfortunately no records of what happened in the next 4 years could be found, but in this time a new city was built far from Human knowledge. The New Olympus. Within the very heart of this city, the school for Divines was built. It is believed that one single demigod, A son of Poseidon, one of the last living demigod of the big three built New Olympus from scratch.

This demigod was made a god. However it is unknown where he is right now, or whether he is still alive. 140 years have passed without any knowledge of him. Its a rare belief that he lives a life as a mortal now, in the mortal world.

"Antonius Rollins, get your lazy arse down here right now or else I swear to god-"

Antony groaned in his sleep. He didn't want to wake up right then. All he had was only 3 hours of sleep and he needed some more rest. However the morning called.

Somehow Antony got out of his bed, and managed to get down to dining hall after stumbling and hitting his head twice on the same bathroom door. His elder brother and mother were already there eating.

Antony sat on a chair and joined them.

"So, you are going to the excursion today."

Her mother said it, stating the obvious.

'The excursion' had been the topic of discussion for the entire week. Antony and his classmates were being taken to New York City. Despite his classmate's excitement, Antony found no interest in going there. He had been there twice in his life, and neither of the two times did he have a relatively pleasant experience.

4 years ago, when Antony's father was still alive, Antony and the whole family went to NYC to visit Antony's uncle in the hospital. His uncle died the next day. The other time was 2 years back. Antony, his brother and mother went there because his mom had official work to do there. She left the siblings in their hotel room in the morning. However somehow, there was a fire in the hotel. Antony and his brother were stuck in the hotel for the next 12 hours while a rescue team worked there way through to save them.

So, bad memories.

Yet, here he was prepared to go there again, this time with his classmates.

"Well, hope nothing goes wrong this time." His brother said. Antony and his brother had some horrible memories of that day when the fire trapped them.

Antony quickly gobbled up the rest of his sandwich and went up to pack his bag. It was going to be either a fine pleasant Monday, or a disastrous one, depending upon Antony's luck.
