Faust spent day and night in his lab, yearning to create a chemical reaction to give life to the one who had given him life. His glasses mirrored a mess of different vials connected by pipes, mixing them together, causing explosions, failing, shattering them against the cold stone wall, cutting himself on the shards, using the waterfall of his blood for his next experiment. Failing, and failing again.
The steel door would remain closed throughout the passing days, his throat parched, his body demanding rest, yet he continued. He would succeed. No matter the cost. If he had left the windowless room for even a minute, he would have noticed the sun and moon flying by in a rapid circle, surrounded by clouds and stars, calling for the foreign poison-green eyes to finally acknowledge them and to surrender to their course. Aurora stopped dancing for him as he remained in his self-made and chosen cage.
Faust kept desperately mixing vial and vial. The solution had to be somewhere, even if God had abandoned him. He'd force the devil to do his bidding if the light tried to close off the goal for him. Was this even science anymore? Or was it just a desperate man, mortal in the end, powerless against the forces of nature? But Faust was more than a man. He didn't need God's help. He was a vampire, a creature of the devil, a warrior. He would become the devil himself to reach his goal!
A persistent knock on the door disrupted his course of day. Despite Faust's shouts, it didn't stop. That is, until the steel door had enough and gave in to the intruder. Clashing on the floor, it made way to a figure. A figure surrounded by the abandoned moon and its court of stars. A figure with long white hair and blood-red eyes and lips parted by sharp fangs.
"Lacrimă..?"
"Doctor Faust, how could you? Mephie needs you, I need you.. that orphanage needs you!"
The vampiress' words hit Faust like a blast of ice. The pandemic, the orphanage! He... he needed to save them.. and her.. but he was too weak. His body was too weak to bear the burden his conscience had bound on him.
Lacrimă's eyes were wide, taking in the state of Faust's lab and the doctor himself, a mess if she had ever seen one. Without hesitation, she lifted her wrist to her mouth, tearing into her porcelain skin with her own fangs. Warm, fresh blood spurted out of the wound like a fountain, and she lifted the well of fresh nutrients to Faust's chapped lips.
The enticing smell of Lacrimă's pure blood hit Faust's nose harder than a rock. His starved body demanded for it, and for the first time in days, he gave in to his body's desires, latching onto the pureblood's wrist, greedily devouring her sickly sweet blood.
His arms pulled her closer to him, caging her in a biting embrace as his fangs finally pierced skin.
Lacrimă gave in, holding still as her blood was sucked out of her. Vlad had never told her that getting bitten delivered the same high as biting, a hot wave of desire conquering her cold body. Faust's eyes were feverish, devouring her for all she was worth, treating her like a common mortal victim. Yet she didn't despise it as she had assumed and prepared herself for. The lesser vampire's fangs brought her body to a whole new level of pleasure, a high that was addicting in its pleasure, her body completely surrendering to Faust's will.
-I'm no good at writing smut, let your brain do the work ;). Anyways~
Faust woke up next to Lacrimă, still caging her in his arms. She was asleep still, snuggling him. Her usually so perfect hair was messy, her clothes dishevelled and her shoes lying somewhere, adding to the mess of the room. She was gorgeous. His hand yearned to stroke her hair, to give her gentle pats, but that would be out of character for the cold-hearted doctor, would it?
A single vial still stands on his desk, not having joined the shattered ones on the floor. His last hope to restore Lacrimă's freedom.
Lacrimă woke up in a warm bed, feeling better than she ever had before. The covers were as soft as her doctor's hair. With a stretch, she got up, grabbing one of Faust's shirts lying nearby and covering herself with it. Speaking of Faust, where was he?
In the middle of the room staring at a vial like it had just told him it loved him. "Hey doctor, I'm gonna get jealous of that vial."
"Drink it."
"You want me to devour my rival?"
"No, I want you to drink it as an experiment"
"Okay?"
Faust sighs. "Just do it, don't question me"
"Fine."
A few moments later, Faust's entire new world crumbled
Sorry for the short chapter, I'll (hopefully) do better
