27. Wedding Planning Pt. 4 (Henry)

"Good morning, Hen! Time to wake up!!" is what Henry woke up to Alex exclaiming in his ear. 

"Why?" Henry dragged out, groaning, "I want to sleep."

"Too bad!" Alex said cheerfully, "Today we're shopping for suits!"

Henry laughed sleepily, "Well someone's excited."

"You're not?!" Alex asked indignantly. 

"Of course I am," Henry reassured him. There are other reasons he's excited too, such as having something he wanted to give Alex. He got a ring for Alex too, because he felt that it wasn't fair that it was only him with the ring. He was finally going to give it to him today. 

"Okay, you should get up now," Alex suggested. 

Henry pulled him down so he was on top of his chest, "Or we could just stay like this?"

Alex rolled his eyes, kissed Henry, and got up again. Henry followed and actually got ready. 

They walked out after having their breakfast and Amy was waiting for them outside, "Ready to go?"

"Yep!" Alex said giddily. Henry wondered what has gotten into Alex today. He seems to be carrying a lot more excitement than usual. 

In the car, Henry decided he wanted to give Alex the ring. He should've done it in the house, yes, but he wanted to wait until tonight. However, Henry's excitement won out. 

"Alex, I got something for you," Henry started. 

"Really? You didn't have to." Alex said. 

"Yeah, I wanted to though." Without any further ado, Henry pulled out the ring. He tried to make it as close to the ring that Alex gave him, but he added some personal touches to it .

"Oh my god Henry, this is beautiful! Thank you so much," Alex exclaimed. Henry slid the ring on his finger and Alex gave him a kiss. 

They rode the rest of the way to the store in happy silence. 

When they got to the store, Alex and Henry split so that they could each find their own suits. Alex went with Amy and Henry went with Cash. 

Henry went to find a nice midnight blue suit and he was planning to wear his yellow roses tie. Good thing for him, he had Cash with him, and if he was anything, he was a brutally honest person so he could tell Henry if the suit he picked out was good or not. 

After going through a couple suits, Cash helped him pick out the best one and then he was outside waiting for Alex by the car, who came out a few minutes later.

"Did you have fun?" Henry asked.

"Yeah," Alex replied with a smile.

"Good. You seemed really excited," Henry observed.

"Yeah, sometimes I just wake up like that. In a really peppy mood."

"I love that peppy mood," Henry smiled. Alex smiled back and they sat in the car right next to each other so that Alex could rest his head on Henry's shoulder. Henry played with Alex's hair throughout the car ride.
