"Acting king!" Haru exclaimed,"that's absolutely ridiculous! He's too young and inexperienced."

"I understand that you feel that way but shouldn't we still provide the capital police assistance?" Nori asked.

"If you feel so strongly about it, you can go."

"They want a real advisor father."

"So? You're all I can offer. Take it or leave it."

"Alright then."

"Senji! There's more riots on the other side of town."

"We'll deal with them later. Just manage the big ones."

"Doesn't that make us look weak?"

"We are weak. Listen, the Mongolia head said he's sending help. But knowing him that means nothing. So focus on the most dangerous riots first."

"Diera will you be alright without me?" Nori asked.

"Of course I will. The Korezutos need all the help they can get. Thank you for your service."

"It's a Mongolia's job."

"Then why are you the only one going?"

Nori's arrival was a little unorganized. The workers at the compound entrance were not warned Nori was coming. While she tried to argue her way in, she was told she was a security issue.

"Ma'am if you don't leave we will have to escort you out."

"I'll go, but only if I am asked to by a higher up."

"Just go get Yato," one of the guards said,"if she really is a Mongolia it would be wise not to touch her."

Yato came to the front gate,"you really came! Here let me take your things for you."

"Thank you. Sir, do you know who I should report to?"

"That would be my brother, Senji Korezuto. I'll show you his office on our way to your room."

"Thank you."

Senji's office was as fancy as the royal captain's room. His desk was clean besides a gold pen and the walls were lined with books. He sat at his desk contemplating a letter.

"Senji," Yato said," your guest is here."

Senji jumped at Yato's voice,"I completely forgot. Ms. Mongolia my deepest apologies. Was entering the estate any trouble?"

"Oh no trouble sir. Yato helped me get in."

"Good. I'll instruct everyone to give you compound clearance. When can I expect the royal guard?"

"My father won't send anyone else. I promise to do what I can."

"Maybe you can put in a good word for as," Yato said.

Before Nori could respond Enji went on,"no use worrying now. I'll have my wife Reiko show you around the living section of the compound. Yato will lead you back there."

Yato brought Nori to the back of the building. Reiko was found getting a recipe out to the kitchen staff.

"Reiko!" Yato called over the clanging of pots and pans,"this is Nori! The Mongolia!"

Reiko gave a warm smile,"it's a pleasure to meet you Ms.Mongolia. I'll show you around."

Reiko was an excellent tour guide and she made sure to point out both areas and important people. By the end of the tour Reiko and Nori were both laughing at fond memories.

"Oh, and this is your room," Reiko said,"I know it's small but it's the largest one we'd give out to one person."

"It's perfect."

"That's sweet of you to say."

"When do I start work?"

"Once we figure out where to place you."

"I assumed you requested a Mongolia for interrogation assistance."

"We don't do many interrogations. I believe Senji wanted crowd control assistance."

"I can do that/"

"It can be dangerous! How about you shadow Senji today and see if you would be okay with it."

"Alright, I wouldn't be in the way?"

"No, Senji loves company. He doesn't have a patrol partener like everyone else either."

"We're short staffed. So he and Yato go alone."

"She's tagging along?" Yato asked,"with all due your respect she doesn't look like the fighting type. I don't babysit."

"Just as a test!" Reiko exclaimed,"it shouldn't be a busy day."

"Fine, stick close Ms. Mongolia."

"Yes sir!" Nori said.

Nori never spent much time in the busy streets of Edith. Walking through crowds turned out to be quite the challenge. People cleared the way for Yato. He happily greeted market wonder and residents.

"Sir!" a stranger yelled,"there's a fight on third street. We need some crowd control!"

Yato turned to Nori,"just watch and focus on not getting hurt."

"I can-"

"Standby."

Yato tried to calmly break up the group, but it didn't work. The protestors didn't comply with leaving peacefully so Yato handcuffed who seemed to be the leader. Every other rioter began to yell. "Down with the king!" they chanted. It wasn't until a rioter pushed Yato that Nori got involved. She quickly restrained the person and asked Yato for some handcuffs.

"Nori already caught somebody!" an analyst said as they returned to the compound," Yato, she might take your job."

"Be quiet and do your job," Yato grumbled.

"Alright. Oh yeah, I'm Fukiya by the way." he told Nori.

"Nice to meet you. Do you want me to show you the riot location for your map? Reiko told me about it."

"Yes please, why don't you come to my office?"

"You can go with him now." Yato said," I can bring these two into processing."

After some extensive planning for patrol routes Fukiya and Nori went to the dining hall. Reiko greeted the pair with some piping hot soup. Not long after they began to eat a riot alarm went off. Nori got up to help but Reiko stopped her. She insisted that Senji could handle this one on his own and she should eat.

"Are you sure?" Nori asked.

"Of course, the citizens are just throwing a tantrum of sorts."

"If you insist."

By the time Senji had returned from the riot, Nori had retreated to her room for the night. Knowing she wouldn't overhear, he asked Yato what he thought of her.

"She's nice," Yato said,"but I don't want her on patrol. She doesn't seem like much of a fighter. Honestly I spent most of the time worrying she was going to get hurt."

"She's smart," Fukiya cut in,"you could move her to my department."

"Do you need help?" Senji asked.

"Not particularly."

"I can keep her," Yato said,"the other patrollers keep telling me I need a partner. She's not bad company. And I can make sure she doesn't get hurt."

"Be nice," Senji said.

"I'm always nice!" Yato exclaimed.
