neymar's lips pushed her head back as everyone cheered the couple on, standing in front of the wedding arch, as a newly married couple.
the ceremony had started off with sr walking luara down the aisle, placing a kiss on her cheek once they reached neymar, who had been staring at her since he laid eyes on her. he couldn't get over how beautiful she looked. of course, she always looked beautiful, but with her makeup done perfectly, hair done perfectly, and wearing the gorgeous gown she had picked out, she looked otherworldly. he couldn't wrap his head around it.
luara felt like laughing once she saw the look on his face. he wasn't grinning smugly, or looking her up and down with a smirk, he was gazing at her in this weird way, but it made her feel giddy inside, like a little girl. the fact that he was looking at her as if she was the most beautiful person to ever exist was making her chuckle, and she grinned throughout the whole ceremony.
she was glad that they chose not to write their own vows, considering that she didn't really want to tell everyone about her feelings for him in some deep way, feeling stupid. still, though, it was a perfect ceremony, and she loved every second of it.
she laughed against his lips, pulling her lips away from his, "we can't kiss forever, i have to go change."
he frowned, pulling her back for a few more kisses, "i've only seen you in this for like, five minutes. i love it."
she was glad that he loved her dress as much as he did, so she rolled her eyes and shrugged, figuring it wouldn't hurt if she kept it on for a little longer. after a while of being congratulated by their friends and family, they were all urged to go to the dining area to eat, but neymar grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the large venue.
she laughed, "what are you doing? i wanna eat, i'm hungry."
"that's your first thought after getting married? you're fucking hungry?" he raised his brows, earning an eye roll from her, and he grinned, "we're married. you're my luara santos almeida."
she cringed, "hm, i have two last names now."
he huffed, "yeah, mine. luara santos almeida."
he couldn't get enough of saying it. he was happier than she was. he couldn't wait to see her write her name in the future. her autographs, luara santos almieda. her signatures for whatever, luara santos almeida, her socials, luara santos almeida. he kept thinking about scenarios where people asked her for her full name, and that each and every time from now on she'd respond with 'luara santos almeida'. he was over the moon.
"yeah," she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and stretching her fingers out, twisting the new gold band around her finger, smiling at his name embedded into it, "you're my husband."
"you're my wife," he laughed, intertwining his fingers with hers and pressing a kiss to her ring finger, staring at his own wedding band, embedded with her name. he snaked his arms around her waist, pulling her to his chest, careful not to stand on her dress. they both melted into a passionate kiss, his tongue swiping over hers as he left a peck to her lower lip. the only reason they pulled back was because nadine was calling their names.
"yeah, you're married, we get it. come on, we wanna cut the cake."
nadine ushered them along, and neymar grinned, slinging his arm over luara's shoulder, pecking a few kisses to her cheek, making her scold him through a laugh, not wanting him to ruin her makeup.
