luara woke up in a dizzy, painful haze. she blinked her eyes a few times, shaking the blurry vision out of her eyes. rubbing her eyes, she sat up, looking around at her surroundings.
"oh, luara." she groaned to herself, slapping her hands over her face and lying back into neymar's bed. she wasn't sure if the headache she had was now from her hangover, or being back at neymar's house. most likely both.
she couldn't believe herself. why was she here? why was she still here?
looking down, she saw that she was only in her panties, and she rolled her eyes at herself, standing from the bed and scrambling to find where her clothes were, now and again wincing at the sudden movements.
finally, she found them, sighing in relief when she did. they were on the chair in his room, and she reached for them just as the door opened. looking over, it was neymar.
"oh, good morning, lua." he smiled, closing the door behind him walking over to her, "how are you feeling, meu amor? do you need anything?"
she looked at him in disbelief. how was he acting like this after what they'd said to each other? they basically ended whatever they were doing, and the last she could remember, they were arguing in the kitchen at rafaella's house.
"what the fuck, neymar?" she shook her head, scoffing and picking up her clothes. they were from yesterday, but she didn't really feel like getting something else to wear and leaving these clothes at his.
he pulled his head back, furrowing his brows, "what?"
"what the fuck– why the fuck am i here, are you joking?" she pulled her top on, adjusting it on her torso, making sure it wouldn't fall down.
he huffed, rolling his eyes and moving around the bed to sit on the edge of it, leaving his crutch stood up against it, "i took you back here because you were drunk and high."
she shrugged, pulling her skirt on, "so what? i could've got myself a taxi. just because i was drunk and on some weed doesn't mean i couldn't fend for myself, i'm not a fucking baby."
"you were acting like one, stropping about just because i was there and trying to help you." he scoffed, hearing her phone buzz, unlocking it and tapping on the message, "your phone was dead, luara."
she shrugged again, "what, and your phone was too? i don't want to be here, how many times do i have to tell you that?"
he grimaced down at her phone, "who the fuck is marcos, luara?"
she fixed her outfit, wincing again at the sharp pain of her headache, turning to him, "who?"
"marcos, who the fuck is that?" he stood, holding onto his crutch and pulling the charger out of her phone, typing out a response.
she furrowed her brows, snatching it out of his hands before he could send anything, reading over the message herself.
unknown : luara, it's marcos, how are you?
"who is it then, come on, don't play with me." he went to grab her phone again, but she moved away from him.
she didn't actually know who marcos was. the name didn't even occur to her in any way until now. who is marcos?
"i don't know." she erased the message neymar was sending, babbling on about 'who the fuck is this' 'do you realise that you're talking to my girlfriend?' type shit.
he laughed, "you fucking know who it is. just tell me, luara."
she brushed him off, turning her brightness down to stop the bright light shining in her eyes, and leaned down to put her heels back on, picking her bag up after she did so.
luara : sorry, who ??
unknown : ohhh you were really drunk, i helped you take your shoes off haha
she thought for a moment, trying to remember, whilst also trying to ignore neymar's chants of 'who is he'. slowly but surely, she began to remember him. not a lot of him, might've not even been him, but she did remember someone helping her with her shoes.
"oh," she said, cutting neymar off, "he was the guy who was helping me with my shoes."
luara : oh haha i'm good, thank u and thank u for helping me lol
neymar grimaced again, remembering the blonde guy who was stood with a very drunk luara as he got there.
"him? are you fucking joking, luara?"
"would you–" she moved away from him, wanting to go check out of her hotel room and go back to rio, "would you fuck off, neymar? i'm leaving."
he immediately shook his head, standing in front of her, "no, i don't care if you're upset, you're staying here. at least just for tonight."
"no, i'm going, i don't even know why i came back here with you." she was tired still, and all she wanted to do was to get in bed and sleep, but he was in her way. she sluggishly tried moving past him, but he grabbed onto her wrists.
"luara, it doesn't fucking matter how you feel about being here, you're not going all the way to rio hungover. you're staying here." he walked her backwards, back toward the bed, "now let me help you get undressed, again, and get back in bed."
she tried pulling out of his grasp, not sitting down on the side of the bed like he was gesturing her to, "i won't do it, neymar. i've told you no, and i've told myself no. i'm not doing it."
"won't do what? let me take care of you?" he quirked a brow, taking her bag off her shoulder and putting it on the floor.
"no, i won't, neymar. just let me go." she couldn't be bothered to argue anymore, and neither could he, so she didn't protest when he took her stuff from her.
"i'm not allowed to care for you anymore?" he glanced at her as he started to tug at her top, wanting her to lift her arms, which she did so.
she sighed, letting him take off her shirt, and letting him move to her skirt, "no, haven't you had enough of me yet?"
"of course not." he took her skirt off, standing straight again, "just let me love you, lua."
she rolled her eyes, "what happened to wanting to know about marcos?"
"why, did something happen between you two?" he turned serious, placing his hands on her waist and pushing her down to sit on the side of the bed, bobbing down to take her shoes back off.
she stuck her tongue to the side of her mouth. a part of her wanted to say yes, just to get him to let her go home, but another part of her wanted to stay, so, going against her own wishes, she listened to that part of her.
"no. i can't be bothered to do that to you again." she leaned back on her hands, staring down at him.
he hummed in approval, pressing kisses to both of her knees, and then her lips, "good. now go to sleep."
