I immediately got out of the car and ran to the end of the dock. Only the half-end part of Pierce's car is visible and the other half has already sunk.
I tossed everything I had in my pockets before diving into the water. As the cold water hugged me, I became deaf to everything but the voice in my head telling me LJ is in danger.
I swam the best that I could. This isn't the same as when I was a kid, just swimming to get a medal. I'm swimming to save her, my LJ.
My eyes sting due to the dark blue water. It's dark and I can't see far in the water. I swam and swam until the sinking car was finally in my field of vision. It's continuously sinking. I didn't see LJ swimming earlier and even if I don't want to think about it, I know she's in there.

I inhaled a deep breath when I reached the surface. I looked around to find Pierce.
"To your left!" Lysander screamed from the dock. Beside him, I heard the water splashing when Vivaldi dove into the water.
