Guardian of Twisted wonderland

A new journey

In the world of twisted wonderland, the place is fully of mysterious and twisted life of its own. The great seven ruled over the twisted owner land alongside the guardians who also provided protection. The two got along well and became farther close to each other, but those times did not last. A type of chaos magic was released into the land and effected many causing them to go insane as it took advantage of their emotions and turned them into monsters, the name that they use now to describe it is a "Overbolt" however the great seven didn't want the guardians to fight against it knowing it went after pure magic, but they where dismissed by the guardians. Knowing the great seven couldn't them they promised to protect the rest until it was their last breath. In the end the guardians we're killed, one went missing, the second disappeared during the disaster and the last one did a Ultimate sacrifice to insure the safety of the world. The guardians were dead, but they created more guardians that are connected to them, which began the tree of guardians. The guardians grew over time, the guardians we're known across the land for thousands of years, but that was years ago they also faced the same fate as the last guardian... Over time the amount of guardians went down to 100 down to 10, then to 5, then to 4, 3, 2, and till there was only one guardian remaining. The history of the guardians died down after the second outbreak of the overbolt, only some kept the history alive, but the story's where also being forgotten slowly and painfully. The last guardian protects the land alone as she waits for her time to finally come to end her suffering.

So far nothing bad happened tonight. You thought, it was late at night for twisted wonderland, you've been watching over twisted wonderland for over 400 years. You kept your end of the contract of being a guardian and accepted all terms.

Y/n(mind): The moon is lovely tonight in this twisted land.

You said with a small smile on your face as you felt the wind of the night blow on you, the moonlight shining on your (s/c).

???: Ah, I finally found you.

A voice spoke from behind, you turned around ready to attack the mysterious person.

Y/n: Coming behind people isn't a good impression you know.

You said in tone of respect, the man walks out from the shadows of the tree and seems to be wearing a type of outfit with dark blue, with a black mask, and a bird peek.

???: Forgive me for my bad impression my guardian.

The man said in apologetic tone, he takes a bow as a way to pay respect to the guardian.

Y/n: No need to bow down.

???: Very well, guardian.

The man spoke as he lifted his head back up. The way he said guardian instead of guardians caught your attention for some unknown reason.

Y/n: May I ask. Why did you say "guardian" when there is more guardians here.

You asked while inspecting the man in front of you carefully.

???: Isn't it obvious. You're the last guardian of this world, aren't I saying the truth?

The man calmly said as he kept eye contact with you. He didn't smile. He just looked at you in the eye without showing any type of emotion towards his words.
