6 | i wanna get cute clothes

Zoro yawns loudly, as the group steps out of their two boats.

"Finally on dry land again..." Zoro says.

"There's a village past here?" Luffy asks, as Luna struggles to take out her heavy bag, filled with clothes and accessories.

"Yeah. It looks like it's a small one, though..." Nami answers, studying the map.

"Ohh! In that case, meat, meat, meat! Meat, meat, meat!" Luffy asks, excitedly, grabbing Nami's shoulder. "There's a place to eat in this village, right?!"

"Forget about meat for a minute, will you?!" Nami tells him, with an irk mark on her forehead.

"Wait, is there places to shop there?" Luna lets go of her bag and puts her hand together in glee. "I wanna get cute clothes."

"You idiots really do have a one track mind, don't you?" Nami sighs.

"Hey, same goes for you with money." Luna replies, as she finally gets her bag out of the boat, throwing it at Zoro to carry.

"You witch..." Zoro growls, but carries the bag nonetheless. There is a shuffle up on the cliff, and the moss head looks up. "Huh?!" He turns serious, and flicks his sword. "Careful, I sense people."

"Where?" Luffy asks, looking around, frantically. "Where? Where?"

Zoro suddenly turns back.

"Look out!" He yells, as shots are fired at Luffy's feet.

Luffy jumps around, in order to avoid them, and flags with a pirate skull on it pop out from numerous places in the forest.

"Heeayyyy!" Luffy flairs his arms. "So cool!"

"Is this the time to be impressed?" Nami asks, from the boat.

"I am Usopp, leader of the great pirates who reign over this village!" A long nosed person yells, standing with his arms crossed atop the hill. "People praise me, and then praise me more, as Captain Usopp. If you're thinking of attacking this village, then forget it! My 80 million subordinates won't sit by quietly!"

"AWESOME!" Luffy screams.

The other three sigh at the simpleminded pirate.

"You're lying, aren't you?" Nami asks.

"Yikes!" Usopp grabs his head. "She saw through it!"

"See, you admitted it." Nami smirks.

"I admitted it to her!" Usopp cries.

"What?!" Luffy turns to Nami. "He was lying?!"

"Curse you, you crafty tactician!" Usopp yells. "80 million may have been an exaggeration, but I do have great men under my command."

"Like maybe three people?" Nami asks.

Three kids pop out from the bushes.

"She saw through it!" They yell. "R-Run!"

"H-Hey, you guys!" Usopp's jaw drops. "Don't run away!"

Luna kneels down and picks up the bullet Usopp shot.

"I've never heard of pirates using slingshots before." Luna says.

"You're neat!" Luffy tells him.

"Hey, you!" Usopp yells. "Don't insult me! I'm a very proud man! Because of my great pride, people call me, Proud Usopp!"

"More like Idiot Usopp..." Luna sweatdrops.

"You saw it yourself just now! My slingshot skills are far greater than your average pistol!" Usopp says, aiming his slingshot at them.

Luffy turns serious.

"Now that you've drawn your pistol, put your life on the line." He says. "I'm saying those aren't for threatening people."

Zoro smirks.

"What you're looking at now are real pirates." The swordsman adds.

Usopp holds his position for a moment, but then falls to his knees.

"Real pirates definitely have way more punch behind their words..." He sighs. "Awesome..."

Both pirates burst out laughing.

"We stole those line!" Luffy chuckles.

"Eh?" Usopp lets out.

"From Shanks, a pirate I respect!" Luffy tells him.

Luna's eyes widen.

He knows Shanks?! She thinks, looking at his Straw Hate. Now that I look at it, that straw hat does look familiar.

"S-Shank?!" Usopp shutter out. "You know Red-Haired Shanks, the great pirate?!"

"Yeah." Luffy grins. "Your dad's Yasopp, right?"

"Eh?" Usopp falls down from the cliff, landing in front of the group. "Yeah, Yasopp is my old man... But how do you know that?

The group was sitting at a small table, which Usopp had led them to.

Luffy stuffed his face with meat, while the rest ate normally.

"Good, huh?" Usopp chuckles.

"I met him when I was a kid." Luffy tells him.

"So, my old man's on Shank's ship?" Usopp asks, grinning.

"Yep." Luffy nods, talking with his mouth full. "You guys look the same. So, when I first saw you, I wondered..."

Luna hits his head.

"Chew your food properly!" She scolds from beside him, and Luffy gulps down the food.

"Really?" Usopp exclaims. "My old man's on such an awesome ship?"

"I dunno about now, but I bet he's still with him." Luffy says, picking up an apple. "Afterall, your dad was a good sharpshooter." He grins at Usopp. "Usopp, I heard enough about you to make my ears sore. Yasopp was a great pirate!"

"Yeah?!" Usopp replies. "I'm proud of my old man who leapt onto these possibly endless seas to live with his life on the line."

"Then that makes this easier." Nami says, turning to Usopp, while Luna steals food from Zoro's plate. "Do you have any friends in this village, who know how to sail, and anyone who can supply a bog ship?"

"As you can see, it's just a tiny village." Usopp sighs. "Sorry, but we can't live up to your hopes."

"On top of the hill." Zoro says. "There was a huge mansion."

"Nee." Nami joins her hands together, gleefully. "Do you know them? Think you can ask them to help pay for one?"

"You can't go there!" Usopp shouts, making everyone look at him. "Ahhh! I just remembered something I have to do." He stands up. "I have lots of influence here! Eat and drink as much as you want! Alright! Later!"

"Why was he in such a rush?" Nami wonders.

"Eh, who care?" Luna asks, stealing more food from Zoro's plate.

"You witch!" Zoro growls.
