Ever since I met you

Chapter 10

The holidays had come. No school for a few weeks. The Christmas time is over and soon the new year will come. As me and Dominic had planned we ae going to hang out. Today actually. The morning was hectic, for me, I had to get ready since I somehow slept through my alarm and was now in a hurry to get to the bus in time. I managed to do that in record time and even managed to eat breakfast and my outfit with my appearance was good, I think so. The bus arrived a bit late which was good, I got to the needed bus stop in time and walked to the agreed place in the center of the city. When I got to the spot, Dominic was already waiting and we greeted each other and walked along the street. Our first spot was a coffee shop. Got our orders and decided to stay in the shop so found a good place to sit and talk about recent life. We didn't talk much during the holidays since both of us were busy with family things.

It was nice to catch up with both of our lives. I missed him a lot. The more I spend with him the harder it is to resist the feelings I have for him. I need to tell him someday but I am afraid. What if I slip? Please not today. Well after we drank our drinks, walked out of the shop and to the city park. The air was cold, some snow, but it wasn't that cold as it usually is during winter here. The sun was out which was a very good bonus to the day. Me and Dominic still talked about things. I don't even remember what about. Still the fact states of me talking with someone, my parents have been busy and I have been alone for quite some time.

"What do you say we get some food?" He suggested.

"Sure." I agreed. We walked out of the park and found the nearest diner we thought would be the place for us to eat at. We ordered up and later received our food, it wasn't that long of a wait. Ate, paid and were out on the street once more. It is that time when you walk around since you have no idea what to really do anymore. After some time we got bored and I suggested to go to the nearest shopping mall, he agreed and we caught a bus for that.

Once at the mall I insisted on going to the book shop. He couldn't say no. In there I found a couple books I wanted to purchase. Dominic just walked along with me, looked at some books but wasn't that interested. Then we walked through the clothing stores and just walked around the mall. After strolling for a bit Dominic suggested to go to one of the nearby canals. I agreed. We walked, he knew a good spot. The walk was for like twenty minutes and we were at the place he wanted us to be at.

We sat down on a bench. Looked at the scenery before us. Silence. Dominic broke the silence after a minute.

"You ever had a crush before?"

"Yes."

"Real or fictional?"

"Real."

"Do I know this person?"

"Maybe."

"Would ou want to tell me who?"

"No but it definitely is a guy."

"Ok."

"What about you?" I was really interested in knowning his answer.

"Not anymore. It was a real person but it never lasted since the person turned out to be not a good person, so the crush just went away, I guess."

"Does that make you sad? Like knowing you liked someone is actually a bad person?"

"Kind of. Not anymore at least. Its all in the past now either way."

"Right. But I wish someone liked me in that way, you know."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I just wish for it. Maybe because I think it would make me feel better I guess."

"I am not saying I don't wish to be in a relationship myself, I think I am scared of it."

"Why would you be scared? You are an amazing person, if they don't deserve you, then they don't."
