The first meeting

A/N POV

You were walking along the hallway, minding you own business when you heard what sounded like an explosion from around the corner, curiosity got the best of you and you walked fast to see what was going on. Right as you were about to round the corner, a tall, red haired, boy ran into you.

He grabbed your waist to steady you and quickly pulled you into a storage closet nearby, closing the door quickly. You heard footsteps approach, he puts his hand over your mouth.

As the footsteps walks by he moves his hands away. "Sorry" the boy says. "Who are you and what's happening?!" You say confused and lost. "I'm Fred Weasley and.. hey are you new? I haven't seen you here before" Fred says curious "yes I am in fact new and this isn't really the best first impression you give here Fred" you say sarcastically. "Well I'm sorry grumpy my fault for not bowing when I ran into you" Fred says while giggling at his own joke. "Well, what's your name grumpy?" "My names not grumpy it's Y/N" you say answering him. "Well you sure don't seem like a first year, what year are you in?" Fred says keeping up the conversation. "4th year actually in ravenclaw and you?" "I'm in 6th, gryffindor" Fred says. It got a bit quiet and awkward , but then you decide to ask about the explosion. "Well what was that big explosion earlier? I still haven't gotten my answer" you asks. "Ahh me and my brother pulled a prank and it got a little out of hand.." you look at Fred weird, but then laugh at him. Fred starts to laugh with you and then speaks again. "We should probably head out now. We can't stay in here forever" "yeah I also need to find out where the great hall is, this school is so big if you lost your bag it would be lost forever" Fred chuckles at you "yeah your right this school is big, but you will get used to it. Come on let me help you get to the great hall, it's dinner now anyway, wanna sit next to me and my friends?" Fred asks you. "Sure sounds fun"
