As I walked up the Ravenclaws tower I saw the spiral stairs Dumbledore told me the Dormitory's was. There was a bronze knocker shaped like and eagle and it required an answer to a riddle.
"What came first the phoenix or the flame?"
I was never told anything about a riddle or an answer to a riddle. I thought to myself. I thought for a second and quickly understood the riddle.
"There is no answer, a circle has no beginning"
The door opened and I saw a beautiful room with comfy looking couches, tall bookshelf's filled with books and a midnight blue dark carpet in front of the fireplace

As I admired the room I saw a blonde girl sitting on one of the couches reading a book. I walked over to her. Nothing wrong trying to make some friends I thought to my self.
"Hi there, my names Y/N I'm new.
"Hello, Y/N" the girl said. "I'm Luna Lovegood nice to meet you. Are you my new roommate?"
"I think so, Dumbledore told me I was sharing a room with someone at the very top of the tower".
"I believe your sharing your room with me then" Luna said while smiling. "Follow me, I will show you the room and I hope you don't mind, but I used an enchantment for it to smell like home"
"I don't mind"
We walked up the stairs and when i saw the room my jaw dropped. It was beautiful.

"It's beautiful". I said
"Yes it really is. I love how cozy it looks" Luna said looking around. "Which bed do you want?"
"I'll pick this one. I said while walking to the bed on the left" (for people who don't know left or right like me the bed closest to the window)
"Okay" Luna said while waking to sit on her bed. "I'm very happy that your my roommate Y/N"
"Thank you Luna I'm very happy that your my roommate too" I said smiling about the fact she liked me. "Does everybody have only one roommate?" I asked.
"No not everybody maybe some, but not everybody".
"Oh okay"
"We should probably start getting ready for bed. Yes it's still early, but school starts tomorrow it's best we get ready too early then too late" Luna said
