A/N POV
It had been weeks since the ball Y/N and Fred made it official after that. They watched the rest of the triwizard tournament and had fun. Until. When Harry came back from the last competition people were celebrating until Fleur screamed. The music stopped as we saw Cedric Diggory laying on his back dead. It was painful hearing Cedric's dad cry over his boy. It was traumatic. Harry Potter saying Voldemort's back and Cedric being dead. It was all so traumatising. Y/N buried her head on to Freds chest while he put his hands over her protecting her.
Some weeks passes and things were quiet. Everyone was sad about Cedric's death, well not the Slytherins, they were happier then ever. The 4th and 6th years was waiting for a message Dumbledore was going to give. While everyone was sitting at the tables in the great hall you could hear the Slytherins laughing. Y/N decides she had enough and walked over to them.
"Will you guys stop flexing your happiness"
"And what if we don't?" Tom said
"Literally someone died not so long ago and your laughing?"
"It's not that deep. We didn't know him" Mattheo answered
"I doubt you would've cared if you knew him"
"I wouldn't. Now can you go now? We wanna laugh without you here" Theodore said
Y/N rolled her she's and pointed her middle finger at them. She walked over to her table again sitting next to Fred.
"Don't worry about them Grumpy. Their just selfish not caring about anything or anyone, but their self" Fred says comforting her.
"I know but it annoys me" Y/N said
just 2 more weeks until summer break and then everybody would go home and live their lives again. It would be a refreshing start from all the trauma that was caused.
"Hey I have something that might cheer you up" Fred said
"What?"
"My parents wants to meet you in the summer"
"Really? Fred sweetie that just makes me nervous"
"Oh, sorry"
"No no, it's okay Fred you don't have to say sorry I'm just in a bad mood" Y/N said to reassure she's okay
"Well do you want to meet then?" Fred said with hope in his voice
"Yeah of course Fred I would love to" Y/N says smiling. "Guys I think I'm gonna head on to bed, Dumbledore should've been her 30 minutes ago anyway"
"Oh okay, Good night" people said
"Love you!" Fred said without thinking about what he said
The group was shocked. And I mean SHOCKED
"Did you just say what I think you did?" Y/N said looking back and smirking
"Uhm depends on how you feel about it" Fred says while standing up walking to Y/N
"This is how I feel about it" Y/N said while pulling him down to her kissing him passionately. The group cheered them on and others from other tables did so to.
"Silence!" Dumbledore said "please everyone sit down"
Fred and Y/N sat down at the table and listen to Dumbledore.
"Tomorrow 4th and 6th year are going to be in potions together because of schedule errors. That was all, you may now go to bed"
Everyone walked back to their dorm and it felt peaceful. Y/N knowing Fred loved her made her feel more safe.
