It was a week before the last task. I was sitting with Matteo when I got a letter.

"Whos thit from?" I asked.

"I have no idea. Open it and find out." Matteo said. I opened it and read it out loud.

To my dear Y/N.
Matteo has been telling me over this past year that you want to meet me. I want to meet you too. Come meet me at Malfoy Manor next Friday at 7pm and bring Matteo.
Dad.

"I can finally meet dad!" I said in excitement! "Does he stay with the Malfoy's?" I asked.

"Sometimes. He's just close with them." Matteo's said.

"I see. I can't wait!" I said.

I'm so happy that the last task is coming. It's been one heck of a ride. Don't get me wrong. It seemed fun when it was mentioned but now that i've seen what goes downs it's changed my view on the event.

I was on my way to meet Cedric as he was taking me on a date at the Three Broomsticks.

"Hey Ced!" I ran over to him.

"Hey baby, how are you?" He pulled me into a hug and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I'm good thanks. How are you?"

"Great. You ready to go?" He took my hand and asked. I nodded and we were off.

We were walking through Hogsmade when we went the opposite way from the Three Broomsticks.

"This isn't the way to the Three Broomsticks." I said looking up to him.

"We'll head there in a minute." He said. I stopped and he continued walk on but he stopped. "Come on."

"You want me to come?" He nodded. I walked up to him. "It's just usually people always wait when the someone needs to do something."

"I would've told you to wait if I didn't want you to come." He said and took my hand and intertwined it with his.

We continued walking for another minute and we stopped and Cedric shouted.

"Dad?" A man turned around and came over to us.

"My boy. What are you doing here?" The man hugged Cedric.

"I'm taking Y/N here, on a date." Cedric said. I smiled awkwardly and his dad came over to me.

"So you're the girl my boy keeps talking about. It's lovely to meet you." He said and hugged me.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr Diggory."

"I'll be coming to watch you compete in the last task." Mr Diggory said. Cedric looked very happy.

"I'll be keeping an eye out for you in the crowds." Cedric said.

"Right well, i'll let you two go and enjoy your date. I'll see you soon son. Also, it was so lovely meeting you, Miss Y/N." Mr Diggory spoke and walked away but turned around and said something to Cedric loud enough for me to hear. "You got yourself a lovely, lovely woman." A small smile creeped onto my face and a tint of red appeared onto my cheeks heating them up. He walked away and we made our way to the Three Broomsticks.

We got to the Three Broomsticks, sat down and ordered.

"You know, my dad is right."

"Why's that?" I looked over to him. He put his hand around my waist pulling me close to him.
