Classes had finished for the day and I make my way back to my dorm to freshen up and change out of my uniform before dinner.
I changed into a pair of blue jeans and a black crop top, basic but fashionable. I decide to chill in the common room until dinner with a book, infront of the fire.
I head down and sit on the armchair by the fire, my knees tucked into my chest and I start to read, enjoying the peace and quiet.
However that peace gets interrupted when from above me, in the dorm corridors I hear my brother and his friends being rowdy like always. I roll my eyes and keep reading.
Soon they come down and disturb my privacy. The numbers had died down, it was not just Mattheo and Theo.
Theo snatched my book out my hand. "What is this you're reading?" He asked uninterested and passed it to my brother.
Mattheo looks at it and reads the blurb. "Seriously, another love story? That seems to be all you read." He says with a smirk.
"Oh shut up. I'll have you know it's a great book." I say as I snatch it from him. "Just because you're jealous that I have the brains and you don't. Well you would if you read more."
"Shut up. I do have the brains." He retorts in offence. Theo snickers slightly and Mattheo shoots him a glance.
"Yeah maybe in your dreams." I reply with an eye roll.
"Just be quiet." Mattheo says. He and Theo sit on the couch opposite me and begin to talk really loudly, which they know will piss me off.
I ignore them to the best of my abilities, but it's really hard when they're talking, sorry, shouting at each other, even though they're right next to each other.
They're talking about some sort of party that's going on at the end of the week. I don't really listen too much.
As i'm reading I feel both their eyes on me. I look up from my book. "Yes?"
Theo speaks up. "Are you coming to the party in here this weekend?" He asks.
"Probably not, why?" I replied.
"You're no fun. Why are you not coming?" Mattheo pipes up.
"I just don't feel like it. I'll need to think on it." I reply, not exactly wanting to go.
"It's not going to be a big party." Theo speaks.
"Is that so? When was the last time yous threw a party that was small? This place is always heaving and I can never sleep at nights cause of all the noise." I spit back.
"Well, okay fair point. But we swear it'll be smaller this time. We promise." Mattheo says as he looks to Theo who nods.
"I'll see. I'll see how i'm feeling. How's that?" I ask, hoping that'll do.
They both look at each other for a little bit before Theo speaks. "We suppose. If you do plan on coming, it's at 7pm, right here."
"Alright." I reply and mark my page and close my book, taking it up to my room and then coming back down. "I'm going to dinner, yous coming?"
They both look at each other before nodding and standing up in sync. We all begin to head out and go the hall for dinner.
We get to the hall and sit at the table just as the big feast appears. We begin to dig in, adding my usual meal to the plate.
After a while, we finish and begin to make our way out. During dinner, Ron, Harry and Hermione had left to, what I can only assume get the lesson ready.
I turn to go a different way when Mattheo and Theo notice.
"Where are you going?" Mattheo asks.
"To uhm, catch up with some friends." I reply, hoping he believed the lie on the spot.
"Quit the bullshit Y/N. You're away to that Dumbledore's Army thing, aren't you?" Mattheo snaps*
"You know i'm doing this to keep father happy? I believe this is the last one for a while." I speak.
"Dumbledore's army?" Theo asks. "Why the fuck has he got an army? That's so odd."
"You tell him Mattheo, I have to go." I say politely.
"Fine, fine. Keep us filled in" He shouts as I have walked away and Mattheo dragging Theo away
I walk to the Room of Requirements and make sure no one had followed and I enter. As I enter, I realise I was the last to attened. Everyone's heads turn to me and I smile. "Sorry i'm late." I say and they nod it off and begin.
This was the last session before a group head off to retrieve the prophecy. God knows what they'd do if they find out that i'll also be there, just out of my own will.
The session finishes and I head back to the common room and as I do, I see Mattheo, Theo and Draco all standing. "Everything okay?" I asked.
"It's tomorrow." Mattheo says.
"What's tomorrow?" I replied.
"Going to get the Prophecy" Theo states before continuing. "He wants us there tonight, stayimg the night so we're ready to just leave tomorrow."
"Oh, yeah...forgot about that" I say.
"We best go before we all get in trouble, especially you pair" Draco chimes in referring to Mattheo and I. We all aparate to Malfoy Manor and as we walk in, we're greeted by our father.
"I see you received the message. Well done children." He says. We just stand awkwardly before he continues. "I'd like a word with my children. Alone." Theo and Draco understood and walk away, just leaving Mattheo and I.
We both stand akwardly and wait for him to speak. The silence longing.
"I hope you both, undtertsand what's at stake if something goes wrong tomorrow." He states coldly. I nod and Mattheo replies.
"Yes father" Mattheo says.
"I have high expectations for you both. Y/N, you'll be paired with Theo, and Mattheo you'll be with Draco. Don't disappoint me." He says sternly.
"Yes father" We both say before he dismisses us. We walk away and see Draco and Theo in the living room. We sit and talk for a while before we all head to bed.
