My eyes opened slowly, and a horrific pain shot through the entire body making me really regret waking up. It felt like someone had taken a hammer and squished every part of my body, snapping all of my bones. My head ached and my lungs were on fire. My alarm suddenly went off and I thought about reaching out and turning it off, but Eddie got to it first. He reached over, turned it off and wrapped his arm back around me, pulling me close to him. It hurt so bad, but I felt so safe and calm. I closed my eyes once more, feeling the stress melt off of me and fell asleep again.

I'm not sure how much time had passed but when I woke up, the bed was empty. I yawned and swung my legs over the bed, climbing out. I instantly fell to my knees feeling a severe pain shoot all the way through my body. All the air in my lungs left my body. My eyes closed for a moment to recollect myself and try to breath normally again, when and I thought back to last night. Fuck I was pathetic, it's time to start working out and eating more again. I could have died back there. My mind raced has I remembered how easily I was tossed around like a ragdoll. It was so painful to breath, but I did it anyways. I forced myself to get off the floor, with great difficulty, and realized I was going to be so late for school. It's too late now, I'll just call in sick or something. I walked into my bathroom and froze in the doorstep. There was blood everywhere. My blood-stained clothes were balled in the shower corner and my guns and knives were spread all across the floor. I walked out slowly and took my keys from the bed side drawer and locked the door. I'll have to deal with all of that later. I just need to get Eddie to go home. I walked to my full body mirror in my room to see the damage and I covered my mouth with my hand in shock. There was a massive bruise all across my abdomen and another one on my upper back. My knees were purple and blue and covered in scratches. No wonder I was in so much pain. Quickly, I put on some boxers, sweatpants and a long sleeve shirt over my body and grabbed some strong pain killers out my drawer and swallowed them. I had a nauseating headache that made me feel lightheaded, but I went downstairs anyways. While I walked down the staircase, I heard a noise in the kitchen and immediately went onto high alert. I quietly ran to my lounge closest to the kitchen and grabbed the knife I kept under the couch. My legs moved swiftly but quietly towards the kitchen, and I leaned against the wall. My heart and mind were racing. I quickly turned the corner and saw Eddie with two mugs and the kettle boiling. He was reaching up to the top cabinet looking for food. I sighed a little too loud and tossed the blade into the room opposite the kitchen. He jumped and looked over at me, then immediately relaxed. "Oh, it's just you." He said, calming down. I smiled at him. "Morning." I yawned again and rested my arms on the counter watching him. "What are ya making?" I asked, taking a mug and looking inside. "Coffee, sorry for just inviting myself in." I shrugged and set the mug down. "And I'm sorry about yesterday." He gave me a sincere look and was scratching the back of his neck nervously. My thoughts instantly stopped, and I looked at him. I quickly thought back to yesterday, scanning through what had happened and I couldn't see anything that he had done wrong. "I didn't mean to kind of force myself onto you. I'm sure you're not really into guys and just kissed me back to not be awkward." I squinted my eyes at him and shook my head, chuckling. "What are you on about dude. I'm very into guys, why do you think Josh calls me a 'faggot'?" He looked over in my direction. "He bullies me because I'm gay. And I kissed you back cause I like you. I was worried you wouldn't feel the same way to me, so I didn't say anything." He smiled relieved and relaxed his shoulders. "Oh, and sorry about your neck." I gave him a confused look and pulled out my phone, going to camera and looking at my neck through it. My cheeks flushed pink, and I felt them with my hand. Eddie had left a bunch of purple blue marks all around my neck. I heard Eddie chuckle and saw him smiling. He poured the hot water into the two mugs and mixed the contents inside together. He added some milk and handed me a mug. "Let's just stay at your house today, I don't feel like heading to school. We're too late now anyways." I nodded and took a sip from my mug. "Mm, this is amazing coffee." Eddie smiled and we walked to the lounge to go sit, but on the way, I stopped walking. It felt like my chest was constricting and I slightly panicked. My head was spinning in circles and my eyes felt heavy. I suddenly gagged and the bit of coffee I drank got vomited out, but there was the taste of iron. My hand holding my mug began to instantly shake, spilling the coffee all over my hands and the floor. "E-Eddie..." I managed to say, stopping him in his track and making him turn around and look at me. The mug in my hand slipped out and smashed against the floor. "Gaege? Are you okay?" I gave him an unsure look and tried walking forward towards him but fell and landed flat onto the floor. I heard footsteps running towards me, but I had no energy to sit up and laid my head down, blacking out.
