Chapter 16: Teasing

We all got into Grant's car because he had the biggest car out of all of us so we could all fit. The first place we were going to was the mall. Grant and Eddie's mom sat at the front. Isabella, Josh and Mully in the middle then Eddie and I at the back. The set up was perfect, too perfect to not do anything. I scooted up to Eddie so that we were thigh against thigh. He was busy scrolling through TikTok while everyone else spoke with each other. I leaned against him and watched his phone. Eddie put his arm over my shoulders and held me close. I waited a little bit before slowly sliding my hand onto his thigh and gradually lifting it higher and higher up his leg. He dropped his phone to the side and waited for me to continue. He leaned close to my ear and whispered. "Car sex?" I chuckled retracting my arm and punching him softly. "You're so funny." He didn't find it funny. He reached out, intertwining our fingers and placing his hand back on his thigh, but on the area I was trying not to reach. My face flushed from embarrassment and my eyes were glued to my hand, gently laying over his bulge. The butterflies in my stomach were going at hurricane wind speeds. Eddie started leaning in to make out with me, but Issie saved me by turning around. Eddie threw my hand to the side and pushed my head against his shoulder. "Hey, bro. Can I play of your phone?" Eddie nodded, giving it to her. I smiled and closed my eyes, taking a short nap on his shoulder.

I woke up to Eddie slightly shaking me. "We're here babe." I smiled at him and pecked his lips. Everyone got out the car and we all went into the mall. We walked for hours, splitting up, going into different stores, and looking at different things. Eddie and I stayed together. He ended up getting me a gorgeous necklace with a butterfly charm on it. He also got us some coffee and donuts. He didn't allow me to pay for anything. "My treat, remember?" He told me every time. And I blushed, every time he said that. I took a long sip from my iced coffee as Eddie and I walked hand in hand through the mall. We got a couple dirty looks from people, but I ignored them. I then spotted a clothing store I really wanted to go to. "Ooo can we go there please?" I asked, pointing to the store. Eddie smiled at me and nodded. We made our way into the store, and I immediately spotted some nice really short shorts. I let go of Eddie's hand and went towards them, picking out one that was my size. "Oh, that's gonna look great on you babe." Eddie said, looking at the shorts in my hands. "Do you think so? I love them but they are a little..." I thought for a moment. "Short?" Eddie chuckled. "If you love them, I'll get them for you. You'll look amazing in them." I smiled and handed them to him to hold. I wondered around in the woman's section for a little, looking at some cute crop tops. "Eddie, look at this." I said, taking a white one with 'Bad Bitch' written in black across the front in a fancy font. I held it up for him to see. "These would go well with your shorts." I nodded, looking at them once more. Just then a middle-aged woman walked up to Eddie and I. "Excuse me. What do you think you're doing?" She asked me, crossing her arms. "Um, buying clothes?" I answered, raising an eyebrow. "But you're a guy." She stated, furrowing her brows. "And?" I asked, turning to fully face her. "This is the woman's section. You're supposed to be over there." She spoke, pointing her finger past my head towards the men's section." I glanced at Eddie, and he shrugged. "Listen lady, I can shop wherever I want. I don't need to shop to your standards." She scoffed and looked me up and down. "What, are you gay or something?" I giggled a little. "Actually, yeah. I am. So, if you don't mind my boyfriend and I were just going to take this and go somewhere else." She looked at me, taken aback. Her head turned to Eddie, then back to me. "You know you are doomed to hell if-" I interrupted her, having heard enough of her shit. "Blah blah blah, hey baby, let's pay and leave." I walked up to Eddie, giving him a kiss then walked away. I could hear her continuously ramble on, but Eddie and I ignored her. "What a bitch." I said, has we walked out the store. "Don't mind her, she has nothing better to do." I nodded and we continued walking.

We stopped at a few more stores then decided to sit somewhere and have some late lunch. It was mostly a snack since we all decided on going out to eat tonight. I had bought myself some fish nets and other clothes. Eddie hadn't bothered on getting anything for himself, so I felt a little bad. He was wasting his money on me when I could easily buy this entire mall for him. We decided on splitting a muffin and getting some more coffee. We spoke a lot on our mini date, and it was soon time to meet up with everyone else. Everyone decided on going back home first to get ready then go out for dinner. Eddie and I were the first one's at the car. I took the opportunity to go up to him and kiss him. He kissed me back and I continued to kiss him. I felt him switch our positions so that I was the one against the car. One of his hands was above my head and the other was resting on my hip. I rested both my hands either side of his hips, grabbing his pants strap. We continued to make out, it getting more and more heated by the second. He soon pulled away and stared deep into my eyes. I smiled widely at him. "Thanks for all the things, babes." He hummed and slightly bit his lower lip. "If I could give you the world, I would." We started kissing again until we heard Josh clear his throat. Eddie sighed and lifted his head to stare at him. I pushed myself away from him to Eddie's dismay, and went over to Josh, checking out all the things Mully had gotten him. Soon everyone got back then we could drive back home.
