When Eve woke up she saw that she was in a dark room and she couldn't feel anything. She tried to get up only to hiss in pain as she tried to place her body against one of her arms. She fell back down in pain and she began to cry until she saw the door open.

"So you're awake Eve, I'm happy that you didn't die because of what you did." She heard Ruki say as he came close to her

She looked away from him "Why are you here Ruki?"

"Unlike the Sakamaki brothers, my brother's and I worry about you. We believe that we've been following the trails of the wrong girl. The wolves didn't attack Yui but they attacked you like it was your blood the wolves were after."

She scoffed as she rolled her eyes. "That's because I'm the last of my kind. I'm not like the Sakamaki brother's. My blood has healing property that regular vampire blood doesn't have."

She then felt the bed in cave a bit as Ruki went slightly over her. "Then you are the girl we've been set out to find. Please look at me Eve."

"No, get lost." She said coldly

He sighed and he forced her to look at him only to see why she wanted him to leave her. She was crying, it had been said that pure blood vampires never shed tears and if they do its in their own room concealed from everyone else. Aristocrat vampires are known to have pride for their emotions and there lack of. Ruki knew this and didn't wish for her to be like the others, he brushed her tears away from her face before he kissed the top of her head.

"Please don't push me away Eve, I know that a lot of people have ignored you. But I don't wish that any longer. I wish to bring you back into notice...if you allow me to." Ruki said softly to her

She blinked her eyes a few times as she sniffled a bit. "O-Only if you promise never to ever break my heart. I can't stand more pain than all that I have felt my entire life Ruki." She said sadly

He gave her a small smile and nodded his head. "Of course."

She moved her head to the side a bit. "bite me." She ordered

He knew it was an order, but still worried about her. But not to get her to distrust him, he did as she asked. He bit her; the blood the flowed through her was sweeter and richer than the blood he got from Yui. He held on to her side as well as the bed beside her head as he stayed on top of her drinking out of her until he knew he had enough from her. He then kissed the top of her head.

"You are a beautiful woman Eve, I do hope that this is the right thing to do." He said softly before he sat at the end of the bed to watch over her.

As he did so he saw that Ayato came into the room and glared at him. "What are you doing in Eve's room?" Ayato asked

"I'd like to ask you the same thing Sakamaki." Ruki said glaring at him

"Pancake was here first so she belongs to us, don't you dare get close to her!" Ayato growled at Ruki

"Too late to warn me about getting close to her, she has already accepted me close to her." Ruki said seriously

"What?! You're lying! Pancake wouldn't dare put herself with someone like you!" Ayato growled

"I'm afraid that its true, now leave Eve alone." Ruki said seriously as he glared at Ayato.

Ayato looked to Eve before he glared at Ruki. "This isn't over."

He then left and Ruki sighed as he looked to Eve. "You were smart to chose me over that ego maniac."

She only turned herself so she was facing him as she placed her hand out to reach his. He held her hand and he frowned as he saw the wrappings around her entire arm. He knew that there were many bites on her arms and legs as well as scratch marks on her chest and stomach.
