Peashooter X Sunflower - Together Forever

Prologue

Peapy's POV

Hi, I'm Peashooter, my friends call me PJ, but my real name is Peapy. It's pronounced "Peppy" but without the extra p. I have an older sister named Peirly, whose also a Peashooter, and an older brother named Reapy, he's a Repeater. Anyways I met the Sunflower during a school day during recess, this was in 1st grade. I won't get into it straight away so we'll start off what happened before...

So it's recess, I was with my group of friends (3 of them) playing handball. My 3 friends are Albert whose a Bonk Choy but we like to call him "Bonkers" , then we have Mushy, whose a Scaredy Shroom, and my favorite, Wally whose, you guessed it, a Wall-Nut. He's the goof ball in our group. Me and Wally were just sitting on the side watching Mushy and Bonkers play handball eating snacks. (We were hungry, ok?).

"Man" I said to Wally, "They're both good at this game."

"Maybe we can get practice from them, judging by the fact they both played against two 3rd graders." Wally answered.

I checked my watch my Mom got me 3 months ago and it was 10:25 am, recess ends in 5 minutes. What i should say is that I usally like hanging out by myself when it the last 5 minutes. I got it from my father, who did that when he was in middle school. Don't worry though, my friends already know that

"I'ma go spend the last 5 min-" I was say till Bonkers cut me off

"You don't need to tell us Peapy, we know already. You do you man." Bonkers replied, guessing he read my mind.

"Alright then, see ya boys later!" I shouted with a soft voice which I rarely ever do.

I was just minding my own business walking near the school building, gonna drink from a water fountain, until I noticed two Repeaters bullying a Sunflower. The Sunflower was for sure a 1st grader like I was and she looked a year younger than me. The Repeaters were defiantly in 3rd grade. Also one of them was named Josh, I don't remember who the other one was called. I would've called out for my sister, whose in 3rd grade, but I think she was working on a project in her class. And I know the Repeaters weren't my older brother, because he's in 6th grade currently. So, I decided to take action and help the poor little Sunflower. And this is where a bond started to form.

"Hey!" I yelled to the Repeaters, "What do you think you're doing?"

"Oh what do we have here?" Josh "politely" said, "That peashooter that acts like a nerd! Oh wait, He is one!" Yeah, I couldn't argue with that, I was pretty nerdy thanks to my sis.

"You shouldn't be pushing people around like that! Especially younger ones!" I said. I was trying to scare them off, but I was young so of course that didn't work. Then out of no where Josh's friend walks up to me, looking like he was gonna hurt me. With a darken face too, jeez...

"Don't hurt him!" The Sunflower shouted. "Shut up!" Josh yelled back, then punches Sunflower in the face, causing a bruise to form, and she started to cry.

I felt so bad, no plant should ever go through that. I got furious, thanks to my Dad teaching me how to defend myself, I tackled Josh's friend and kicked his jaw

"OW! WHAT THE HELL?!" The Repeater responded, "How can a little scrub like you cause pain to an older person"

"I say you should leave the poor flower alone & book it!" I said in a gruff voice to act tough.

Then the Repeater threw his fist at me. I don't really like starting fights, but instead of taking the hit and curling up. I caught his fist and I kick him in the nuts. I thought it was funny, and the Sunflower giggled too. As he curled up with his hands on his crotch baling his eyes out.

"JOSH WE GOTTA GO, THIS PUNK IS STRONG AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO HAVE KIDS! DX" He shouted. "Ugh, nerdy pea, we'll get you next time, watch out" Well, that's what they would've said, if they didn't get expelled the next day lol.

I walked up to the Sunflower as she was on the ground. Reached my hand out to help pick her up. "You ok?" I asked calmly acting like I didn't hurt someone hard. "Yes, thank you so much :)!" She said.

"Say, are you the Sunflower that just moved recently?" I asked, mostly cause I recognized her. "Yes I am, I came from the east side." She answered

"Names Peapy, you can call me PJ if you like too, nice to meet you." I said. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Sunny!" She responded as the bell rung. Instead of rushing back to class to get perfect attendance, I decide to take her to the nurse, mostly because she's never been to it since her time being here. Speaking of which, She also told me she only been her for 3 days. That probably explains why she was picked on.

After getting to the nurse's office, "Thanks for taking me to the nurse Peapy" She said as she grinned, "Anytime Sunny!" I responded, "Friends?" "Friends." She said with giving me a hand shake.

After leaving the nurse, I walked with her to her class. Then left to go back to my homeroom with a tardy slip in my hand. I vaguely remember her saying "Your amazing..." but, I could be wrong. I walked in my class. Bonkers was there, yes, he's my seat partner.

"Mr. Peashooter sir, how come your late to class? Your never late." Mr. Bamboo asked, I then gave him my first ever tardy slip I ever gotten. "This is why..." I quietly replied, sounding a little sad, but I can assure you that I wasn't. He then read my reason on the slip. "Oh, I'm so sorry that happen to your friend." Mr. Bamboo said, feeling bad. "It's alright, that's all covered." I said with a smile, well, grin I guess. Then I went to sit at my seat.

"Where the heck were you?" Bonkers asked, "I took a friend to the nurse, because they just moved here and they had a bruise." I said in a monotoned like voice. "Oh wow, are they ok?" Bonkers asked being concerned. "Yea they're fine now." I said.

If you're wondering why I never mention it was a female, it's because one time, I became friends with a Dragon fruit, whose name was Jenny, and Bonkers started hitting on her, trying to get her as his gf. Unfortunately, she moved to a different state. I still do miss her, but she's been contacting Bonkers more, which meant that she responds to me less. This is why you never have a Girlfriend at a early age.

Later on at the end of the day, I waited outside the school building for my sister, until I saw Sunny. She ran up to me.

"Hey Peapy, what'cha doing?" She asked, "I'm waiting for my sister" I said, "Also, I walk home cause I don't live that far from here." "Is it ok if I walk with you? I live close to the school too" She asked. "I don't see why not!" I gratefully said. "Hey lil' bro!" My sister said. "Hi Peirly!" I respond. "Who's this cute little flower?" Peirly asked. "This is Sunny, she's my friend." I said, "She wants to walk with us cause she also doesn't live far from the school." "Oh what the heck, she can tag along!" Peirly said with a smile. "Now let's go before Reppy gets home!" She said, Me and Sunny both nodded

We walked home and we dropped off Sunny, we both found out we live 4 houses down from each other, so we could possible have a sleep over. When it was bed time, I've wonder how far will our friendship go, I do this every time with my friends during bed time. Only time will tell though about this. But this, was just the beginning for the future.

Also if you don't like this ship, Firstly, idk why your even here, and Secondly, don't hate on me for making this, again, this is my first fanfic. There will be a second prologue that's a few years later but in Sunny's POV, I won't guarantee that it will come right away, but will see. :D
