Pidge, once again, was on her "lab" in the hanger, and as always, she was working on a way to improve the paladins equipment, this time the communication system. She was trying to make the communication area larger, since it was difficult for them to communicate when they got separated, and she wanted to be useful and help her team with this. 

While she was doing this she thought that the team was doing some exercises in the training room.

Lance came bursting and trying to catch his breath. He went running to the side of the green lion and tried to hide.

 Pidge face palmed herself, and asked "what in the world are you doing Lance?" She sighed and said this without taking her eyes off of her helmet.

"It's pretty obvious, isn't it?" Lance then poked from behind the green lion and said "we are playing hide and seek" he shouted-whispered.

Pidge got stuck up in her work again, not answering to what Lance said. But got interrupted by second time.

"Pidge, sorry for bothering you, but, have you seeing Lance" Shiro walked in the hangar while saying this.

Pidge chuckled "you mean the boy yai tal, tan skin, brown hair, blue eyes, yeah I've seen him around"

Shiro crosses his arms at the eighth of his chest and raises an eyebrow like the rock 🪨. "Pidge?"

She started swinging her legs on the chair where she was sitting "I may or may not have seeing him earlier around here in greens hangar"

"Pidge, seriously" he chuckled and Pidge started to laugh.

She loved to hear Shiro laughter she really loved it "okay, okay" she held her arms up in defense like if he was holding a gun and pointing at her to tell him where Lance was "he's right there" she said pointing with her finger to her lion.

"TRAITOR"Lance yelled from the back of the lion "that's unfair, she told you where I was hiding" he said to shiro while pointing to the girl that was working on her helmet once again.

"The sooner you get out my lab, the sooner that I will be able to focus on this and finish it"Pidge said it while continuing to work on her helmet

"What exactly are you working on Pidge?" Shiro said and Lance picked the helmet to look at what she was working on on her helmet

Pidge tried to snatch her helmet out of Lance's hands "give it back" she said while standing up and trying to get it back.

Lance rised the helmet out of the reach of the green paladin "make me" he said this with a mocking tone, and then he smirked and started to chuckle.

Pidge then chuckled a little and then kicked Lance where the sun never reached. Lace dropped the helmet and fell to the floor with unbearable pain, and started to scream in a high pitch.

"That must've hurt" Shiro said kneeling to Lance's side and patting his back.

"Lance, right now, get out of my lab or suffer"she took her helmet and placed it on her desk and then laughed facing Lance slowly.

"Fine, fine" Lance said with a scared tone "but I'll get back at you Pidge Gunderson!" Lance said while leaving, still in pain

"Like I was saying, before being interrupted" Pidge said, breaking the silence and turning to look at Shiro, which did the same "I'm improving the communication system, making the communication area much larger, a few galaxies more or less, just in case we get separated"

Shiro was about to say something but was interrupted by Allura, who was entering Pidges lab "that's a fantastic idea, Pidge! We'll done!" 

Pidge enters in frustration mode "does anyone in this ship knock before entering?!"

Allura goes back a little scared, closes the door and, after a few ticks, knocks and then enters once again.

Shiro can't help but laugh at what Allura just did

"I give up!" Pidge said, her head hanging from her chair "wait, weren't you guys playing hide and seek?"

"Lance was crying saying that he need urgently a healing pod, so we stopped because of that" Allura said this scratching her neck "we have a team meeting in a few doboges"

"Alright, I need to talk to Pidge before that we'll go there in a tick" Shiro said looking at Allura.

Pidge watches Shiro watching Allura leave. Of course he'd like Allura, there is no way he'd like someone like me. Pidge thought.

"I gotta go, se ya later" Pidge said picking up her stuff from the table.

"But you were going to tell me about that upgrade of the communication system, you seemed excited to tell me about it" shiro said a bit disappointed, since he wanted to know about what the green paladin was excited about and confused about what she had to do.

"Really, there's nothing much to say about it" she said already at the door of the hangar before leaving a confused black paladin.

Why must it be so difficult for her to talk to him, it's not like she... likes him... right?
