Chanyeol was looking at Yeonjun with serious eyes not taking his eyes from him a second. Yeonjun who was sensing the King's anger bit his bottom lip and lowered his head.
"Father! Yeonjun has came back for me-"
"Beomgyu go out sweetheart! Yeonjun and I need a serious talk!" Beomgyu looked at his father and then Yeonjun who had his head down. He could sense him being nervous and afraid. He himself didn't know what'll his father do.

He then looked at his father again!
"I won't!" He said sternly.
"Beomgyu!" He held Yeonjun's arm surprising both Yeonjun and Chanyeol.
"You wanna speak about....what happened! It is about us! The two of us. So I must stay here."
"Beomgyu!" Chanyeol said with a serious tone.
"Go out an-"
"I won't! If Yeonjun is here then I must be here too."
"You child!" Chanyeol said angrily.

"Your highness!" Yeonjun said and smiled to Beomgyu.
"Please listen to our King your highness! Your father wants the best for you." Beomgyu pouted and lowered his head.
"But-"
"Please! It is better for you." He said and smiled. Beomgyu looked his father and then him and nodded.

Going toward the room's door he stopped beside his father.
"He is back....cause of me!" Chanyeol looker at him.
"I love him! So much!" Chanyeol swallowed and bit his bottom lip.
"Go out!" Beomgyu bowed and then left the room.

As he was gone Chanyeol turned to Yeonjun angrily looking at him with tightened brows. Yeonjun lowered his head. He was well aware how broken the King was right now! Not just him but Beomgyu! He did not care if the King would trial him or hit him hard but didn't want to lose Beomgyu.
As Chanyeol went near him he swallowed. When he stopped near him he closed his eyes waiting for a slap from Chanyeol but got surprised when the King began speaking.

"Why are you back?" He opened his eyes in shock and swallowed.
"Y-your....highness!"
"I asked you a question!" Chanyeol said angrily. Yeonjun lowered his head.
"Do you know what has my son gone through cause of you and the feeling he claims is love?" Yeonjun bit his bottom lip.

"Your love gave him pain, caused him a big pang in his heart!" He chuckled.
"Beomgyu never ever was a child who would cry over things! When he was little and began walking he never cried when he would fall, never cried when he was sick. When he became older he started learning using sword and archery! Again he never cried when he get injured. He never protested about anything and would give his sweet smile." Yeonjun looked at the King who had teary eyes.

"But you....you....made my son cry!" He whispered.
"And I saw his tears.....cause he was hurt for the first time!" Yeonjin swallowed and bit his bottom lip.
"Your highness!" He whispered.
"So tell me.....at least tell me why you are back when you chose to leave and made my son cry cause I cannot see him hurt again and crying cause of being hurt."

"Your highness!"
"Please! Tell me the reason....why are you-"
"I love Beomgyu!"

Beomgyu pov

I bit my bottom lip looking at my room's door!

"What are they saying?"

Yeonjun looked into the King's eyes.
"I know....the pains I caused the prince! I know how much cruel I was and don't deserve the kindness he is giving me unconditionaly!" He smiled.

"He is like this! Giving that sweet smile you said and bringing light to everyone's heart when they are in the darkest parts of their lives." He swallowed and wiped his tears.
"Beomgyu was like this to me too! He brightened lots of darknesses." He said and smiled.
"I don't know....what happened that I thought....I can live without him. Like....like how I thought I can stop thinking about him or even forget him? I was a coward and stepped back....while he is always here and there for me not afraid of anything or anyone!" He looked at Chnayeol.

"I know I have hurt him and caused him pain. I know I am not good at expressing and showing my love and don'tt deserve him but...." He cried and bit his bottom lip.
"I cannot live without Beomgyu!" He said with a cracking voice.
"I cannot live without that light! I wanna show him the things I haven't! To show him love! That I deserve him and value his love for me. I wanna try and do the things I never have done to anyone and do my best just for him." He swallowed and sniffled.

"I know....you are angry with me your highness. But please....please...." He looked at Chanyeol his tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Don't take Beomgyu from me." He swallowed.
"I love him! So much!"

Beomgyu pov

"What are they talking about?" I bit my bottom lip. What if father says something harsh to him and break his heart?

"Beomgyu!" I turned as heard my brother along with the great prince!
"Brother!" I bowed to them.
"I've heard Yeonjun's back!" He said looking at me. I smiled and nodded.
"Yes! It is about two hours he is here."
"Where is he?" I looked at the great prince. I bit my bottom lip.
"Beomgyu?" I looked at brother.
"He is inside and father's speaking with him!" He sighed and looked at the room. I swallowed! I am so afraid.

"Beomgyu!" I looked at the great prince. He smiled and held my hands.
"Don't worry! I am sure things will be like the way you desire!" He said and caressed my hands.
"Your highness!" In that time the door got opened and my father came out following him was Yeonjun.

I swallowed as saw his eyes puffy and red! As our eyes met he gave a smile.
"Yeonjun!" He turned and looked at prince Seokjin. He smiled and bowed.
"I've missed you!" The great prince smiled.
"You silly! You know what we went through?" He smiled and bowed.

"I am sorry that I made you worry your highness!" I looked at my father who had unemotional face.
"Father!" He looked at me. I breathed in reliefe as he smiled to me. He then looked at Yeonjun!
"It is up to you from now on!" He said with a serious voice. Yeonjun bowed.

"Yes your majesty!" He then looked at brother.
"What are you doing here? Don't you have a meeting with the welfare ministery?" Brother looked at us and then him.
"I...I....came...I-"
"You are a crown prince and still do not know how to speak! How do you want to manage a whole country!" He shook his head.
"Aishhh! You are going to be a father soon for god's sake!" He said and then left.

Brother looked at us again and then father who left.
"Oh I guess I have to go! Seokjin sweetheart come with me I don't feel good if you go to your palace alone." The great prince looked at us then.
"I am happy to see you two together! Also Yeonjun don't forget to come to me." Yeonjun smiled and bowed. Brother then held his hand with one hand and wrapped his another hand around his waist.

"Be careful and eat well when I'm not around. I told Gauel to give you snack in half an hour don't forget darling!" He said and prince nodded.
"Alright you take care too!" I smiled watching them and heating their chat.

"They're cute and loving!" I got shocked as he hugged me from behind. I smiled amd bit my bottom lip. I then turned to him. He tilted his head.
"You don't feel comfortable?" I shook my head.
"It is not this it is just....just...." I looked at him and swallowed.
"Nothing forget it!" I smiled trying not to cry.
"I missed you! So much!" He caressed my face.
"Yeonjun don't leave me alone! I am afraid when I'm alone!" He smiled.
"I won't! I never ever will!" I smiled and brought my pinky.

"Promise?" He smiled and captured my finger.
"Promise!" I smiled and hugged him back.
"I won't ask you about what my father told you but you can tell me if he says something taht hurts you!" I looked at him. He smiled.
"Beomgyu!"
"Yeah?"
"I am sorry!"
"Yeonjun!" He swallowed.
"I want you to know, no matter what happens. I will stand against whatever and whoever stands against us!"
"Yeonjun!" He smiled and hugged me.
"I love you!"
"Love you too!"
