We all stare at the open door with wide eyes, until Eric shuts it close.

"All right, come out , come out wherever you are", Eric echoes pathetically into the dark.

"James, if your trying to scare us, that technique won't work", I laugh pointing at the closed door. Nobody answered, obviously.

"Where are the lights?", Hannah says in the softest way she could manage to hide her fear.

"Well, I don't know. Does it look like I know?", Alice barks in a rude and sarcastic tone. Hannah frowns, looking down at her flat shoes as water rushes to her eyes.

"She wasn't asking you", I manage to mutter. I don't want to be too rude to Alice because of what had happened nearly half an hour ago or else it will make the problem much more worse than it already is.

Before Alice could say anything back to me, Eric disrupted," Guys lets go and try to find the lights". I nodded. Not just because I agree with him, but because he changed the topic at the right time. This is what I like about Eric. He's witty, yet tolerable.

We all follow behind Eric and Hannah, as she shines her flashlight forwards, whilst Eric is in command telling us to watch our steps and stay together. At last we found the electric room.

There were so many wires from all the colours of the rainbow. We had no clue how to turn on the power when there is no switch or button.

"How the fuck do we on the power?", Alice questions angrily, looking at me for answers.

"Who knows, maybe there is no power. This place was abandoned for ten years, it obviously won't work", I say calmy, trying to hold back the annoyance I have for her attitude of being rude to my friends.

"Yeah, he's right. The power may not work so there is no point trying", Hannah agrees with me, gazing into my eyes as if she is proud of me for no reason.

"Was I talking to you? No, I wasn't .So stick your nose out of our business!", Alice screams, pointing her finger at Hannah who looks as frightened as I was when I found out she was pregnant.

Everyone stays silent, hoping that Alice won't continue this argument any longer but she does.

"Some stranger could me lurking around this house right now and we're trying to figure out how to turn on the power. But your just standing their doing nothing but smiling that stupid smile to get with my brother! Well listen up you whore; You can do whatever you want to do to seduce my brother, but keep in mind that I will come in the way and stop you of your selfish behaviour. You are nothing but-"

"Shut up Alice! Just shut the fuck up!", I exclaim standing in front of Hannah as the bright flashlight shines on my back. The power turns on and I see everyone with their jaw practically on the floor and widen eyes all staring at me and Hannah. I'm surprised myself but I still carry on.

"What has she even said or done to you!?"

"It's not what she has done or said. It's what she is doing!", she yells back as Hannah's tears drop to the floor with her eyes  screwed shut.

"What? What she is doing?! You made her cry and even worse, you accuse her of trying to seduce me. What the fuck is wrong with you Alice? Stop making up these silly excuses for being jealous of her.", I can't believe I just said that. Actually, I can. It sounds quite stupid but it's true.

"Jealous? Of that cow standing behind you?". As soon as she notices Hannah's wet face, she bursts out laughing whilst holding her stomach. I can tell she is faking it and I would usually laugh at that, but now was no time for me to.

"Don't call her that", I say in a low, serious tone with red eyes staring at Alice as she stops laughing immediately and looks ups to see the frustration that I am finding extremely hard to hide. She almost looks frightened?
