Iris was sipping on her martini as she watched all the dancing people on the dance floor, and her friends were also among them. Maybe it was the alcohol getting to her head or her usual overthinking. But she thought of the times when she and Harry would dance with each other on the dance floor. And how he couldn't ever keep his hands to himself. She immediately realized that coming to the club wasn't the best idea to forget him.

She drank her last martini sip and went to the women's bathroom, where she brought her purse with her. Iris wasn't the most active smoker, but when she would, it was to forget the problems in her life. That was her only way to forget that she had any. She smoked the intoxicating stick that was between her lips. Then, she slowly let it out from her lips and breathed a sigh of relief.

The thought of Harry started to blur in her mind as she finished her smoke. So she decided to fix her appearance in the mirror before returning to her friends, who probably wondered where she disappeared. She returned to her friends at their section of the club that they had reserved. Amelie immediately looked at Iris. She smiled at her and said, "We thought you left us to go home."

"You guys think that low of me, but I won't lie; I was close to leaving," Iris said with a laugh after her sentence.

But one thing that was still bothering Iris was that Harry was her first thought about everything. Apparently, the smoke didn't help. She didn't feel the tears rolling down her cheeks until she felt arms embracing her. That's when she finally let out the tears she'd been holding in for the past week. Iris tried to be strong, but secretly, she wasn't as strong as she thought.

"Everything will work out, Iris," said Amelie as she held her tighter and stroked her hair to calm her down

"I'm not sure, Ame, my heart hurts. I'm in pain, and I don't know how to stop it," sobbed Iris in her friend's neck as she embraced her back

"It's okay, we're here for you," said Eloise as she patted Iris back
