"HOW COULD YOU? You did it once, and you do it once again!" Yelled Iris as she pushed the chest of the man she once loved.

"Just let me explain," said Harry as she tried to calm down the love of his life, who was livid and had a valid reason to be

"You still have the audacity! There's nothing to explain, Harry. You were seeing another woman and at that, your director while still with me, simple as that," yelled Iris as she ran her fingers through her hair

"..I still hoped you would change, but I guess you won't. Once a cheater, always one," said Iris as she went to the mini bar that she had as she pours herself a glass of wine

"Just try to listen to what I have to say," said Harry as he put his hand on her shoulder

"Don't even touch me. I'm not listening to your pity excuses again. I should've just ignored your text in Paris when I had the chance," said Iris as she glared at Harry

"Iris- "

"Just leave, please. I want to be alone," said Iris in a defeated voice

Harry sighed and just gave up since there was no talking with Iris right now, so he left Iris in her home with so many thoughts clouding her head. Was she not enough? What did she do to deserve this? Just why?

Why?

Iris just let her body fall to the ground as her eyes started to tear up, and then that's when everything started to hit her like a train wreck. She needed her best friend now. So she called Niall in a crying mess, which Niall said he would be right over.

As she stared off, Iris was sipping on her wine glass on her couch. She was overthinking so many things, and that's when Iris heard the front door being opened and shut. Then, walked in a frantic Niall, who saw his best friend in the worst state she'd been in. Iris looked at Niall and started tearing up. Niall instantly went to her and brought her into a tight hug.

"Niall, I just wanted him in my life, and this is what I get instead," cried out Iris as she clung to Niall's t-shirt.

"Shh, it's okay, Iris, he's not worth your tears," said Niall as he patted her back to calm her down

Iris just cried in Niall's arms the whole time. Niall was livid inside about how many heartbreaks his best friend had gone through just because of the same guy that she can't let go.
