Jing Jiao aka Jiao Jiao – Jiao Jiao is a 17-year-old high school student. She lives in Hunan Village with her mom and is a smart and sweet little cutie. Although she's not very tall, her dreams are monumental, centered around relocating to Shanghai so she can attend a better school, eventually leading her to her dream destination—Shanghai University.
Jiao Jiao also possesses a remarkable talent for painting, showcasing her creativity and skill on the ceramic bowls and vases that her mom creates. She's a lovely and dreamy girl, whom everyone loves as soon as they meet her.

Li Qian – Li Qian is a 25-year-old CEO who currently runs the Li Group. He took over the real estate conglomeration when his dad died a few years ago. He's very competent and talented, obtaining the highest score in the country on his university entrance exams.
Li Qian has had visions of a lovely young girl in his mind for as far back as he can remember, and he's been searching for her for many years. To his everlasting delight, a shaman finally helps him track down Jiao Jiao in Hunan Village.

Yuan Ming – Yuan Ming is a funny and chill guy and can easily fit in with any group of people. He's Li Qian's best friend, but he sometimes feels overshadowed by him. He's been compared to Li Qian his whole life, and although he's talented and smart in his own right, the constant comparisons have made him somewhat jealous.
Yuan Ming has had a crush on Ling Xue for a long time, but he quickly realizes that he needs to start making better choices.

Ling Xue – Ling Xue is 24 years old, and the princess of the Ling family. She is considered the childhood sweetheart of Yuan Ming, but she's always had a crush on Li Qian. He was in a bad accident when he was a teenager, and most people believe that's why he left Shanghai, including Yuan Ming.
