Nickel was about to open the door to go get some breakfast when it opened on its own. it was balloon, and bot. balloon looked at nickel with a bit of surprise on his face. nickel shared the same look.
"nickel, what are you doing?"
"going to get breakfast, why?"
"oh no you don't."
"but why not?"
"you're sick, you're not going anywhere."
"b-but-"
"no buts nickel. back to bed, now."
balloon pushed nickel along back to his bed. he laid him down on his bed because it'd take too long to get him on the top bunk.
"but im not- *sneeze*..sick."
"your face says otherwise."
balloon laid a blanket over nickel. nickel whined as balloon placed the cloth back on his forehead.
"now you lay here and rest, you need to get better."
nickel sighed and snuggled more into the blanket
