A month passed. Spring was coming and things were getting better for Kathy. Even for her father. Their relationship gotten better than the years. Blade was even happy for them.

Seeing them happy reminded him of his friends, Torch, Pinhead, and Jester. Jester though disappeared before Blade left to be alone. He always did assumed his friends would fine, because whenever he returned they were fine. He nothing to be worried about them. He could go looking for them, but...he couldn't leave Kathy.

Kathy came back from school. Her father was out, but once she came in her room, she was greeted by Blade on her bed. He was swing his legs back and forth and held his hook to her. Kathy smiled dropping her bag and gave him a hug. Blade loved her hugs. They made him feel all bubbly inside.

"You missed me, Blade?"

Blade nodded. Kathy giggled happily and kissed his nose. He blushed when she did that. He wished he grew her size to hug her. She smiled at him and nuzzled her nose against his. "I got to do some homework. You can watch if you want."

She patted his head and went to her desk. She pulled out her books and started doing her homework. Blade climbed up to her desk and sat on the edge watching her.

Kathy smiled at him as he watched her. He was just amazed how smart she was. And even talented, because after she finished her math, science, and history homework, she did her art homework. She was drawing him. Once she finished she showed him.

"Whatcha think, Blade?"

Blade was amazed by her talent. He smiled up at her and clapped his hook and knife together. She smiled seeing he was happy. She picked him and hugged him. Blade hugged her back with his hook. She giggled when he lifted his hook rubbing her nose.

"You're so sweet."

He smiled at her. She was so sweet. That's what he liked about her. She treated him so nice. And she was caring. She took care of him as if he was human. She then set him down on her desk and poked his chest. Blade blushed at her. She then closed up her books and put them in her bag. She then picked up Blade going downstairs. She was going to see what she could make for supper. She thought a sandwich would be fine until her dad came home. She then started to make it. Blade decided to help her. He used his knife to cut the tomatoes and spread the mayo. He then cut the cucumbers. Kathy placed the pieces on her bread and put salt and pepper. Blade cut it half for her and smiled. "Awe thanks, Blade," she then kissed his cheek.
