Bonus chapter: Just the 3 of us

Tommy POV

I kicked a rock while walking home. Stupid teacher. She's just a hater. I sat down on a pile of grass and looked around. I don't feel like going home. Welp, guess i'm gonna meet up with Ranboo. I ran to a small house on the edge of a neighborhood. I banged on the door. "Hey Ran!! Open up!" The lock turned and I saw a tall woman with black hair and tired looking eyes. "Oh hi Rans hot mom. Do you know where Ranboo is?" I asked.

 "Oh hello Tommy! He's just upstairs would you like me to call him down?" She asked while rubbing one of her eyes and smiling. I nodded and turned around to wait for him.

 "Tom?" Ranboo said. I turned around and waved. 

 "C'mon Ran let's go find..." I looked at his mother to see if she had gone away. "You know who." I whispered to him. He nodded and we left. We went to the shady part of town. We stopped and hid in a bush near one house. We slowly walked to one of the windows and peaked inside.

Glass shattered on the floor. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME!? I TOLD YOU NOT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE, WHAT WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF YOU GOT CAUGHT?" My father had killed someone in the past for money and my mother hid him from the police. They couldn't afford a good house. They were both broken. Like people in insane asylums. I tried not to be like them. Just to wait a little longer. If someone or something could cause this to end...

"Hey...We're out of food...Go get more..." My mother said while sitting in a corner. 

"YEA YEA I'LL GET IT!" My father screamed. I turned away and tried to distract myself. "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO TURN YOUR BACK ON ME!?" My father yelled as he punched me in the back, causing me to fall over on one side and curl into a ball. "Tch, If only your mother never had you. I'm going to sleep, if you go outside one more time...you don't even wanna know what will happen to you." He said while laying on the ground to sleep.

It had been 30 minutes and both my mother and father were asleep. Well, my mother slept with her eyes wide open. I heard a slight tap on the broken glass. I looked over and my eyes widened.

"Psst! Toby! Come on!" Tom said. I had been friends with tom for a few months now, but I never told him about what happened at home. How did he find me. I looked over and saw someone else with him. Ranboo? Why was he also here? I slowly got out of the house through the broken glass and hid in a bush with them.

"What are you doing here? It's too dangerou-"

"Shut up Tobias Smith! Your stupid ass self can't even tell your friends that your parents are some really really bad guys! Come with us!" Tom said while grabbing my arm and slowly dragging me out of the neighborhood. We got to the school that we all went to, which was 2 minutes away from my house.

"What are we doing at school?" He turned around and yelled 'shhhhh!' in my face before dragging me towards a ladder on the back of the building. We all climbed in and sat on one side of the roof, our legs dangling from the end. Both of them looked at me. "Hm?"

"Well?! Gonna tell us what happened?" Tommy said while staring at me. I looked at the ground. A small tear shed from my eye. He hugged me and Ranboo looked at me and smiled. "You don't have to tell..." Tommy mumbled while looking away. 

I started to cry more. "I- I didn't want to worry you guys." I said while crying. Tommy sighed and hugged me tighter.

"Just so you know dipshit, we are 100% here for you." Tommy said. I slightly laughed.

"You said a no no word." I said while slightly laughing and hugging him back. 

"Yea, and I'll say that Ranboo and his mom are goddamn hot as FUCK." Tommy said while screaming the last word. I laughed. Ranboo stood up and sat opposite to where Tommy was sitting so he could also sit next to me. 

We are only 10. Only highschoolers get to say no no words." I said.

"Well fuck them highschoolers." Tommy said. "Anyways we wanted to say that we've been spying on your house for a while, and we wanted to give you these 2 things." Tommy said as him and Ranboo both handed me 2 different keys. 

"W-what is this?" I said.

"It's the keys to both of our houses, just know that you're welcome every time." Tommy said. Another tear left my eye.

"Thanks you guys." I said. Tommy started to speak.

"As long as the 3 of us are here, nothing will happen to any of us. Ever."

Tommy POV

2 years ago (They are 13 in this timelapse)

"Hey Ran!! Let's go meet Toby!" I yelled while running over to him after school ended. "There are going to be some new people coming to adopt today!! I hope they adopt Toby!!" I yelled happily.

"Then what are we waiting for!? Let's go and see." Ranboo said while jumping over some fences and running to the orphanage. 

"Hey wait for me mate!" I said while running with him. The orphanage Tubbo stayed at also served as an adoption center. Tubbo has the 2nd oldest there, with the oldest being a 16 year old who helped take care of the little kids.

We soon reached the orphanage. We walked inside and were greeted with the receptionist. "Hey boys! Toby's in the room to your right." She said while pointing to a room. We ran into the room.

"Tobyy!! Are you excited for the new adults coming?! They might choose you and you can start going to school with us again so we can hang out all day instead of just after school!" I said while jumping around.

"I hope they choose me but there are also a lot of other kids who deserve it more than me." Tubbo said while scratching the back of his neck. We heard the entrance door open and peaked through Tubs' room door to see who it was. 

"It's them!" Ranboo said while patting Tubbo's head. The family was a man and a woman with a kid who looked to be 2 years older than we were. They looked around and met Toby. At the end, the receptionist asked them who they wanted to adopt.

"Well, I don't know honestly." The woman said. "Do you have anyone who want to be your sibling?" She said while looking at the 15 year old kid who was with them. He had a cap on which made it hard to see what he looked like. He looked away and mumbled something. 

"Well I thought that we could choose this young lad." The man said while kneeling down and patting Tubbo's head. 

"R-Really?" Tubbo said with excitement in his eyes. Me and Ranboo watched from a distance. 

"Yea! What do you guys say?" The man said while ruffling Tubbos hair.

"I'd love to take him in! If he's okay with it though." The lady said while looking at Tubbo.

"I-I'd love too!" Tubbo said while grinning. 

"Oh my gosh, I can't take this anymore." The kid quietly mumbled while walking over to Tubbo. He hugged Tubbo which caught Tubs by suprise. "You're too adorable, in a sibling way. The names Jschlatt." Tubs smiled and hugged back. 

"Yayyy I'm so happy for Tubbo!" I said while jumping up and down. 

"Stop the racket or they're gonna see us!" Ranboo whisper-yelled.

"Oh yea you're right." I said while stopping. "I hope they treat Tubbo with the love he deserves.
