ch 14. Promise of the Villainess

I thought I was going to die.. I have more things that I wanted to do..I wanted to say..specially to him. I can't just live him alone..when I promise that I'll always be on his side.

That's when I wake up in a unfamiliar room wearing unrecognizable clothing, then I slowly the memory returns.. Desmond had save me from drowning and carried me all the way here..once again he saved my life.. what did I say to him while I was delirious?

"Oh-" an elf? Is she the one who helped me?

"Miss..what's your name?"

"Oh! My name is Celine.."

"Celine.. I will make sure to repay your kindness towards us"

"I will do this for everyone that needs help lady, wait here..I'll call for your friend"

"There's no need for that" I stand up..my body felt so weak after what just happened.. but I need to see if he's also fine..

Walking to the back door of the house I would see him chopping firewood with another man

Then I almost fall and he carried me here and... seriously why is he so worried about me.. I'm already fine

But right now, I'm really thankful for him for saving me, he really is an amazing individual..if only he didn't refuse to become the prince's knight...then maybe his path toward his dream would be much more easier than what's ahead, it didn't help that I'm the oke who recommended him too..

Gods..chopping wood is a workout, maybe I should use it as training when I get back..

It seems that me and Cassandra will be staying here for the night, miss Celine and Mr Lester are very kind people..and miss Celine's cooking ain't bad at all, it's mg first time eating an elf's cooking..and it actually pass my annoyingly sophisticated taste buds..I still blame my dad's godly cooking because of this

After resting and helping with the dishes..I got on the place where I will sleep, the couch in the living room with one pillow and a blanket for me to cover my self from the cold night..

Waking up he next day Celine had awake me for breakfast, Cassandra is already awake and eating soup..ot seems that her condition had become better than yesterday..it was a silent breakfast, we put on our washed and dried uniform before we get on the road

Cassandra before we leave, bows toward our savior "thank you again for everything that you have done for us, It you need help..please go to our territory, my name is Cassandra Windermere..I'm an the only daughter of duke Windermere. So please, always remember it..I will help you two with every inch of my ability, it's a promise"

The two of them are surprise that Cassandra revealed who she was, not only that..they are also surprise to her identity as the daughter of the famous duke  

"Well then, we shall leave" and we leave the place and went to the road..we are given the direction to walk onto to get back into the city..if we continue this path then we will see the gates shortly

"How's your body?" I ask Cassandra, she's been silent all this time and it's getting really awkward for me

"I'm fine..."

"You sure? I can carry you in your back again if you want, I can just put you down later on"

"No, I'm really fine"

She might find it awkward, she likes the prince after all, I forgot that I'm a man as well..she doesn't want pointless rumors about us, of course it's not just for her sake..but also for me.. she's engage with the prince, if I got in a rumor with her, It might become bad for me..even worse than the minotaur stuff

"Thank you for saving me back there, I dunno how would I repay you"

"Come on..I already told you..we're friend, and I'll do it for anyone..life is precious, you shouldn't take it for granted" as someone on his second life... *Sigh* death is a very sensitive topic for me.. I even find it hard to kill my first rabbit..but in this world..you need to be strong and ready to kill those who want to kill you.. but it doesn't mean I won't save those in a verge of death..even if she's the villainess..right now, she's still not the villainess at this point after all..
