I find my self in a familiar scene once again.. our group riding a carriage.. this time, the destination is Cassandra's family estate.. its not the first time that I stay here so it won't be new for me..
But for the others..
"Oh my! That mansion is so big!? I can't believe that you live there as a kid Cassandra! I want to explore it!" Anna exclaimed almost pressing her face on the glass window of tge carriage while sitting beside Cassandra
"Well.. yeah ... Tho it's not really easy to navigate for new comers..so please be careful when exploring" she just smile smile looking at the excited Anna
"Man.. you sleep here while the both of us sleep in a hospital bed?" Thomas ask looking at me
"Look... I'm sure Cassandra would've bring you two here with me back then if you guys aren't injured and fatigued.."
"Of courseee~" Thomas give me a teasing grin.. losing an arm didn't change him, and I think that's a good thing
"Let's all be ready to get off.. we will be arriving soon" Cassandra said to everyone with a smile.

Once we arrive I was given a room with Thomas..we will be staying here throughout vacation to get trained personally by Cassandra's father and whoever the kingdom bring.
Looking at my friend... I ask "are you sure you want to do this? How about your parents? I surprised they allow you to go with us after..that" I was talking about how he lost his right arm and his life..
"Well...both of them don't like it, but I still insist. It's hard to convince them..but once my mom was okay with it..my father was also fine with it. Also!" He uses his magic to create a copy of an arm..it was his magic..creating a copy of his cut off arm "An injury like this won't stop me.. well.. it did killed me and was revived.." I can see that he trembles a bit remembering that time..but he clench his fist and sighed "I can't just leave you guys alone to do all of this.. specially Anna... I owe her my life" he looked down saying that he owe his life to Anna..hiding his face from me
"Well.. as long as you know what your getting into. It's also nice to have you here Tom"
Smiling, he deactivates his and let his magic made arm disappear "welp! They told us to rest for the day! So I'll rest! What about you?"
"I'll walk around for a bit"
"Alright. Grab me some snack when you come back okay?" He then plop down the soft bed.
I left the room and walk outside the mansion... Sitting down on a bench right in front of the mansion looking at the front gardens as the fresh air and cool wind hits my face.. it's very relaxing like this.
"Oh? I didn't know that you'll arrive today" a familiar voice from a while back..
I look to my left to see a elven lady... It's miss Celine, the elven alchemist that helped us when Cassandra was almost assassinate "long time no see"
"Miss Celine? Why are you here?"
"Oh..well I was ask to be here along with Emellie~ " as I look behind her..I see a familiar red haired girl with glasses
"H-hi! Long time no see!"
"Yeah..it's been so long last time we saw each other was at the festival right? How have you been?"
"Splendid! master Celine had taught me a lot of things! I'll be a full fledge alchemis in no time!"
"Not only that, we also find out that she also have a lot of talent with crafting magic items.. and that's why we are here~ I heard that you fought a demon a while back yes?" Celine ask
"Yes.."
"And as someone who can't use magic..you had a hard time fighting them yes? It's possible to fight a demon with only your skills with a sword.. but most people who did it had support with magical potion and magical items.. and we are here to develop an items for that.."
"Why here? Shouldn't you guys be in the capital doing that?"
"We are actually hired personally by the duke" Emellie said
"The two of us already know about your friend's secret, don't worry! We are with you" Celine said with a smile "and as you lot deciding to train with her.. it seems your group decide to be part of the saintesses guard.."
"To think that miss Anna is the saintess...ughh.. to think I almost get the saintess killed back then by my stupidity.. so I'm here to help! Me and master will help with designing magic equipment for you and the others! "
"That's glad to hear, I look forward with working with you again Emellie"
I thought that would be the only surprise that I would be seeing this day.. but suddenly...
I'm now standing in front of the mansion along with the duke and Cassandra to greet... My mother
"M-mom? What are you doing here?"
"Oh?~ well.. I'll be miss Cassandra's swordsmanship teacher"

"You didn't know lad?" The duke talked "your mother was the finest swordwoman in our class! Too bad she didn't became a knight and just decide to settle down with your father who back then is one of the best user of wind magic!"
"I heard that you guys knew each other..but I never knew anything about that! I only knew dad can use wind magic and that's all!
"Well.. we want to bury that life in the past... " Mother said with a smile.. probably remembering the good times "I wanted to surprise you so I came to travel late...I also need to tidy the house before I leave"
Really.. she's still manage to do chores before going here??
"Good evening madam" Cassandra greets her and smiled "welcome to our estate"
"Good evening too miss Cassandra~"
"Cassandra, you can just me Cassandra.. I guess I'll be calling you master or mentor now"
"Ara?~ why not just call me mom?"
Me and Cassandra just turns red hearing that
"Mom! What the heck!?"
"You can't hide things from me young man~ I already know about your relationship... Duke windermere already told me~"
Of course he did! But when!? He personally send my parents a letter or something????
"Now now~ there's no need to be tensed. I knew everything that what happen now..just forget what I said before" my mom then winks at us
