The three girls where now in Allison's car driving to find Scott.

"I don't know. It doesn't look like much to me.", Lydia confessed.

"It's a pattern, it means something."

"You really think Scott's gonna know what it is?", Lydia asked Allison.

"No, but he might know someone who does.", Allison answered, confident in her theory that the bruises on her and Lydia's wrist mean something.

"I mean I agree with you Allison, but how are you so sure?", Elaine asked from the back.

"Yeah, how are you so sure that it means anything at all?", Lydia added.

"Because that girl wasn't just looking for Scott. It's like she needed to find him. Like she had to and that means something.", explained Allison.

Finally arriving at that party where Scott and Stiles were at, Allison texted Scott to come outside and he did. Though he was confused to see not only Allison, but also Lydia and Elaine.

"This isn't the talk we were gonna have, is it?", the boy asked.

Allison shook her head.

"I need to show you something."

Allison showed Scott the bruise on her wrist. Suddenly Elaine had a bad feeling. Like something bad was happening just under her nose. She looked around but couldn't see anything. She didn't like that feeling at all. But as quick as that feeling came it went away. All of this was freaking her out even more. First the stuff happening with the animals and now this.

It was the next day at school and Elaine was currently standing at her locker gathering all the books she would need, while on a call with Belly and Conrad, her closest friends from New York and her old school. Elaine was telling them all that has happened in the past few days. With her headphones in she barely heard what was happening around her.

"Man, that town is weird. You sure you want to stay there?", Conrad asked.

"I told you there would be signs for you to come back to us.", Belly supported Conrad.

"I know it might sound like that, with all the crazy stuff happening around here and I would love to see you guys again, you don't know how much I miss you; these calls don't give it justice. But something is telling me to stay. It's like I'm meant to be here.", Elaine explained, closing her locker.

"But do you feel welcomed and comfortable? And—"

"Yes. Well.. mostly. Lydia and Allison are trying everything to make me feel welcomed and it helps, like a lot. But they're not you guys. They're awesome and like you guys know, Lydia is like my sister, but still i—"

"You're not feeling like you are home.", Belly concluded.

"Yeah. Not yet at least.", Elaine sighed, walking to her next class.

"What about that Stiles? Is he still being a dick? I will come and pay him a visit, you know", Conrad asked getting protective.

"Stiles is being Stiles.", Elaine answered, annoyed only by the mentioning of the boy's name.

"Annoying.", Conrad mumbled while Belly took notice of something in their ongoing conversation.

"You haven't mentioned Scott yet, what is that about?"

"I think he has a lot going on right know, I don't know. We haven't talked much these past days.", Elaine shrugged, not wanting to talk about it.

"Have you even tried talking to him?", Belly asked, knowing Elaine's habits.
