"Heyy, guys.", Elaine greeted Conrad and Belly when the two accepted her call.

"Finally!", Conrad exclaimed relieved.

"Girl, where have you been?!", added Belly.

"I'm so sorry guys. I- There's- It's been a couple of rough days or even weeks. You wouldn't believe me what's happening around here."

"I almost had to stop Conrad from driving to Beacon Hills!", Belly said.

"She didn't answer our texts or calls! What else was I supposed to do?", Conrad tried to defend himself.

"Maybe call her aunt? Melissa? Like I did for example. She did answer her phone and let us know that you were still alive, thank God.", Belly said, directing her last sentence to Elaine.

"I am truly sorry. I know I could've at least texted you back."

Conrad sighed. "It's okay. At least you're contacting us now."

"We're not mad at you.", Belly clarified to calm the girl down.

A comfortable silence took over them. There were a lot of thoughts running through Elaine's head. "It would've been nice to have you here.", Elaine admitted. "But I don't want to drag you into this mess. It's better if you stay in New York. The Best if you don't even come visit.", Elaine began to rant.

"Okay, stop that.", Conrad interrupted her.

"Yeah, what type of friends would we be if we don't even come visit you?", Belly added.

"We've been actually talking about that with our parents and...", Conrad began but drifted off, noticing Elaine was getting more anxious. Not getting an answer from Elaine, Conrad and Belly understood that she didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"So, do you want to update us first or should we update you before?", Belly suggested, changing the topic.

"I could go first. To get it out of my system.", Elaine shrugged, and Conrad and Belly agreed.

Elaine then managed to update her two friends on what was happening, leaving the supernatural out of course.

"What I am hearing is that Stiles likes to tease you, do you know what that means, Conrad?", Belly asked the boy excited. "Oh, I know!"

"This is what you got out of all off that? And what do you guys mean?", Elaine asked the two confused but with a chuckle.

"Could It really be?", Belly began.

"Oh, it could.", Conrad agreed.

"What are you talking about? I wanna know!"

"I think Stiles has a crush on you.", Belly spurted out. Conrad nodding excitedly, agreeing.

"What? No, he still has a crush on Lydia. Where did you get that from?", Elaine denied their suggestion.

"You two are a lot of times hanging out together.", Conrad continued.

"We're not hanging out. And we have a lot of classes together, what's the big deal."

"He even sounds to be a bit nicer towards you.", Belly noticed.

"He has to be. Scott is his best friend and I'm Scott's cousin."

"And what I'm hearing right now, you didn't even say ew or yelled no way! Like you used to do.", Conrad pointed out.

"Oh my God. You're right. What is happening to me?!", Elaine exclaimed having realized it now too. "I could never think of Stiles in that way!"

"Are you sure about that?", Belly asked to make sure.
