Fortunately for Elaine after the few hours she had managed to sleep she did not wake up with a hangover. Unfortunately, she could remember everything that had happened the night before.

Elaine was determined to hide from Stiles and not speak to him as long and as best as she could, not wanting to face him after the multiple kisses they had shared. Elaine regretted having drank this much alcohol that made her stop thinking rationally. Elaine did not tell anyone about it and Stiles didn't seem to have either. And Elaine wasn't planning too either.

Due to Scott not wanting to have Elaine in the house, not wanting her to get hurt she opted to go to Derek's. Elaine wasn't too happy about it, but she also wasn't in the mood to argue.

When Elaine told Derek about Scott's plan to lock himself and Kira in the house to try to protect Kira, Derek just shook his head disappointed.

"And you didn't disagree with him?", Derek asked Elaine.

"Didn't feel like it. What could I do anyways?", Elaine shrugged, continuing to do her homework.

"You would know if you would go in your Granny's house. I can't believe you haven't yet, now that you have the key." Elaine stayed silent, frustration building inside her. Derek doesn't know what it's like. What it feels like.

And when the Ethan and Aiden called Elaine, informing her about their plan to basically break in Scott's house, she told Derek and they drove to the house together.

Doing as she was told Elaine ran into the house after Derek did and ran to stand beside Kira.

"You okay?", Elaine asked. Kira was only able to nod, showing that she at least wasn't physically hurt.

"Mom, the ash!", Scott called out while he and Derek were fighting the masked men.

Elaine and Kira didn't notice how another masked man appeared behind them, examining Kira. Right then Ethan and Aiden jumped through the windows, fangs out and ready to fight. The four werewolves fought and threw out the masked men that were in the house.

"Mom, now! Do it now!", Scott yelled. And after Derek had pushed the last masked men out of the door, Melissa was quick to throw the glass container of mountain ash, building a barrier to stop the masked men from entering.

When Kira held out a hand towards the masked man that was standing before the door, her hand got rejected by the barrier of mountain ash.

"All the baseboards are Ashwood?", Derek asked Scott.

"Yeah, it was Deaton's idea. Where the hell did you come from?"

"I've been following you. Except the short time Elaine was with me.", Derek answered with the truth, pointing towards Elaine who was standing on the other side of Scott.

"For how long?", Scott asked confused.

"All day." Elaine chuckled at Scott's perplexed expression.

"Scott, this isn't good!", Melissa yelled, putting pressure on Rafael's wound. The cousins ran to help Melissa.

"We need to call for backup.", Rafael mumbled.

"How bad is it?", Scott asked his mom, handing her a towel.

"From the way that his arm is rotated, the tendon looks torn. He could be on his way to a collapsed lung.", Melissa explained.

"Mom, those things, they're not gonna leave until the sun is up."

"At the rate he is bleeding he isn't gonna make it that long. We gotta get him to the hospital."

"Should we call Stiles' dad?"

"I don't know. Isn't that just gonna get more people hurt?"

"Maybe."

While Scott and Melissa were thinking of a solution to keep Rafael alive, Elaine observed the wound. Wanting to help, but not knowing how; her hands started to tingle.

"I don't think guns work on them."

"Then what does?"

Elaine stayed by Melissa's side when Kira asked to talk to Scott.

"Do you think you can take my place?", Mellissa asked her niece.

"Uh, yeah, yes.", Elaine was surprised by Mellissa's request.

"I'm just gonna grab a new towel and a few more supplies that could help.", Mellissa explained while she let Elaine overtake holding pressure onto the wound.

When Mellissa knew Elaine held a secure grip, she left the room to grab more supplies. Elaine held on like she had learned from Mellissa. Her hands continued to tingle, and a weak blue light started to come from them.

"The fuck?", Elaine whispered, not knowing what was happening.

Right as Mellissa reentered the room Elaine's hands stopped glowing as her attention was back on Mellissa. Mellissa went to take Elaine's place and change the towel when she noticed something strange.

"It- It stopped bleeding.", Mellissa noticed, confused.

"It did?", Elaine asked, also surprised.

"Yeah.", Mellissa confirmed, trying to wrap her head around it.

"I'll keep putting pressure on it, just to be sure.", Mellissa said, continuing to save Rafael from death.

"Yeah. That's- That's a good idea.", Elaine swallowed hard. Was it her abilities showing? Probably. What else could it be?

After being informed that the danger was over, they called an ambulance for Rafael to bring him into the hospital.

"Hey, stab wound to the left chest, possible collapsed lung.", Mellissa informed her colleagues, giving over Rafael for a proper medical treatment.

"I'll find Stiles.", Scott said and went deeper into the Hospital to find his best friend. Elaine stayed by her aunt's side, holding her hand in hers.
