The following few hours surprisingly went by without any major occurrences. Hessen took this opportunity to explore the base a bit more in detail. Well - at least New Jersey recommended her to do so. She had plenty of free time available anyway; The Commander had yet to assign her to any tasks or missions.

But she was not complaining - the base truly WAS huge. Some of the hallways seemed to go on forever – and after every corner, there was always something new to discover, including new faces.

Her curiosity led her to the dorms of the Royal Navy first. Their presence was always highly felt across the entirety of the base in the form of the ever-so-diligent royal maids, but the entire faction they were part of couldn't just consist mostly out of them, could they? Plus, back home, the British navy was also called 'Royal Navy'. At least the name of this faction remained identical with its modern counterpart.

She decided to test her own knowledge of the layout of the base, wanting to see how well she was capable of navigating it at this point. Thus, she left the map she was given by the Commander behind at her dorm room. She already roughly knew where important areas were located – she just did not know the specifics.

And so she went outside, walking through the complex.

Royal Navy... Royal Navy... how would the dorm building of this faction look like? Hmm... something elegant, luxurious perhaps. Let's see...

Of course, each building had its own insignia representing the faction it belonged to. Naturally, the Eagle Union dorm was identified by an eagle on its insignia. There also was an insignia with a double-barred cross which she couldn't quite identify; and the third one she saw resembled the head of a lion wearing a crown.

Hmm... I think this should be it. The crown makes it a bit obvious.

Her proper destination now identified, she made her way inside, looking around its interior in an attempt to sate her curiosity. Almost instantly, she noticed rather drastic differences compared to the dorms of the Eagle Union. The entrance area, the hallways, basically everything screamed 'royalty'. It was like entering a palace of some kind, including everything that came with it. The color gold was abundantly available, and the rooms were filled with sturdy old-style wooden furniture befitting of the moniker 'royalty'.

The entire building also bustled with activity. Royal Maids especially, but that was not surprising. This was their center of operations, after all.
Shortly after entering, one of the maids quickly hurried over to her. That was to be expected – Hessen did look horribly out of place here, her uniform sticking out like a sore thumb.

"Greetings. I am Sheffield, part of the Royal Maids. I see you found your way to our dorm, judging by your exaggerated facial expression."
She plainly stated, her icy cold demeanor and gaze partially intimidating the German frigate.

"Sorry about that." She quickly apologized for gawking around the dorm. "It's just that you can instantly notice that the Royal Navy inhabits this building. It's like I'm in a castle."
