Jumping to conclusions

It has been awhile since the first incident and things didnt seem to get any better jay still hasn't told the others about the strange encounter at zanes house but at the dame time he was getting worried. Zane showed less and less interest about being a ninja and barely showed up for rounds. Once he even didnt show up when the city was getting attacked. Then one day sensei got really mad because the ninjas told them about zane barely showing up anymore so sensei told them to force zane to come wether by dragging him or lie about being in danger but nya had a great idea.  "What about we just corner him tomorrow since tomorrow is the parent teacjer confrence and the student has to be present ?"   Sensei smiled at nya idea. " then youll also be able to tell his parents that their son doesn't show up to "class"  ".  Cole replied

*time skip to the parent teacher confrence*

All the ninja and their parent were present but zane and his parent still hasn't shown they were about to start but then a tall man entered he was wearing some sort of scientific outfit "hello ? Im mr julien im zanes father you said you wanted to see me?" He said dragging zane and another boy through the door " ah yes please have seat "  "so as you all probably know your children are the ninjas" wu said in a cheerful tone as all the parent looked at each other "but sadly some of your children have not been showing up to class or to do round of the city" and again all the parents looked at each other but with a more accusing look in their eyes. "So would that person like to fess up ?" Wu asked starring at zane in particular. Everyone caught up to what he ment except zanes father " well looks im going to have say it, zane, what have you been doing instead of going to class?" Zanes father then gave him a look that was saying your in deep shit. "I was at home or....at the infirmary." And wu being a teacher/the principal he has seen his fair share of student under the influence and it was clear as day to him that was high. "Yes i was told when you were in the infirmary or at home but that was only 50% of the time what were you doing during the other 50%?" Now zanes father was glaring at him. "I dont know-"he was cut off by sensei " do you or do you just dont want to tell us?" Now zane was quiet he didnt what to say anymore and the fact that everyone was now staring didnt help "thats what i thought now for the rest of the year you will have to show up to every practice and rounds and you will have show up to all your classes.That said-" he then went one about how all the other were doing wonderfully.

Sorry it took so long with my computer being broken and health issues I hadn't  been able to publish part :,)
