you let out a sigh once you had taken your seat in your classroom. you took out your earphones and wore it before looking around the classroom, seeing everyone was talking with their friends except you.
you transferred to this school a few months ago, you didn't really tried to make friends in the school since you thought that everyone probably had their own friends group now.
plus, you're the typical quiet person who liked being alone.
you rarely talked to anyone in the your school. however, there's a person in your class who always tries to have a conversation with you.
and that person was your seat mate, lee sohee.
you always wondered why he wanted to talk to you that much. he sometimes brought you sweets and drinks, saying that he accidentally bought extra, it's promotion season and stuff.
"good morning y/n!"
you shook your thought off and looked up, seeing sohee greeted you with a bright smile. "morning," you mumbled. after settling down his things, he turned to you with a bag on his table, you took out your earphones and looked at him, waiting for him to speak.
"i bought sweet red bean bun and chocolate milk for you," he said, taking it out and pushed it to your table. you looked at it and asked, "did you accidentally bought extra again?" he shook his head, "not this time, just wanted to buy it for you in case you hadn't eaten your breakfast yet."
"thanks," you mumbled before opening up the packaging of the bun. he smiled and stared at you, taking the chocolate milk and opened it up for you. "is it good?" he asked, taking another bun from the bag. you nodded at his question as your mouth was stuffed with the bun, making him chuckled at your state.
you and sohee sat in silence as you both were enjoying the sweet red bean bun and the chocolate milk.

the day went by like the usual day, you were packing up your things after the school ended. the other classmates of yours had already left, leaving you and sohee in the class.
you had no idea why sohee was still here, you always waited for your classmates to leave so that you could walked alone plus you wanted to avoid the students in the hallway.
as you were cleaning up your table, you side eyed sohee who was standing there with his bag.
is he going to leave or what?
once you were finished, you took your bag and looked at sohee. "why are you still here?" you asked. "let's walk back together," he said, walking next to you with a smile.
we live in the same neighborhood?
you furrowed your eyebrows and tilted your head in confusion. he looked at you weirdly and realized something, "wait, don't tell me you don't know we live in the same neighborhood?"
oops
"uhh," you didn't know how to answer him, you avoided his eyes and looked down to your shoes. "hey it's alright, let's go now," he said, grabbing your hand and walked out from the classroom.
you were glad that all of the students were gone, you were extremely flustered by sohee when he grabbed your hand as you both were walking out from the school.
he was being all giddy like a kid while you had no idea what to do. you softly tugged on his hoodie, making him turned around and looked at you. he waited for you to speak but you just pointed at your hand. he looked down and questioned, "what?" you looked at him and said, "you're holding my hand."
