you're working as a secretary for miss bae at a company. you worked under her for quite a long time now, that explained why you're close to her.

miss bae took really good care of you after knowing that you left your hometown and came here alone. although she looked cold on the outside but she treated you like her own sister.

and because of her, you found yourself a boyfriend.

sungchan was his name, his company and your company had been having meetings with each other after agreeing on working on a project together.

his company was led by him and his friends, though they just started the company a few years ago, they were quite known in the industry because of how well they're doing in their business.

since yours and his company were working on a project, his team often came over to your company to have meetings. therefore, you and his team got close, considering that you were all nearly in the same age group.

you and sungchan had been dating for nearly a year now, everything were going well...

up until there's a new guy came into your department and started to flirt with you.

of course, you kept a distance between the two of you, telling him that you were clearly uncomfortable with him and you even told him that you already had a boyfriend yet he still bothered you.

shaking your thoughts off, you walked into miss bae's room after knocking on her door. "good morning, miss bae," you greeted with a slight bow. she hummed as answer, motioning you to take a seat, "what's my schedule today?"

she stared at you while you were listing down the schedule. as expected from her sixth sense, she noticed that you were not in your best condition these days.

"what's wrong with you these days? you seemed off," she asked after you finished talking.

you looked at her and hesitated if you should tell her what happened or not.

"i'll cut your salary if you don't tell me, y/n," she warned which made you let out a groan. "you're using the same trick again, i hate you," you said before slumping down on the table.

"you don't, now tell me what happened," she said, waiting for your answer.

you sighed and looked at her, "do you remember park hocheol who transferred a month ago?" she nodded, "yeah, the one worked with hyunjin, what's wrong with him?"

you sat up and told her, "he's been bothering me for the pass month when i clearly told him that i have a boyfriend."

"alright, i'll fire him."

well, that's easy

you stared at her in surprise, still couldn't process what she just said.

"apparently, hyunjin told me that he's been lacking off during work and even tried to take credits from the others," she said which made your mouth formed an "o" since you had no idea about that.

she sighed, crossing her arms, "you should have tell me about what happened, y/n, now go and work, send me the files before leaving work."

you nodded and got up, thanking her before leaving the room. you released a sigh of relief and walked to your room.

meanwhile

miss bae took her phone and looked for sungchan's number.

knowing you well, she knew that you wouldn't tell him what happened but she thought that he deserved to know it as your boyfriend.
