Chapter 11

Lily’s POV:

“He’s late,” I hear Naruto complain, as I walk into the classroom. We’re supposed to meet our sensei today. I know Kakashi was going to be late, so I brought my phone with me. I continued to listen to my songs. With the ear buds, I was able to tune out Naruto’s and Sakura’s bickering. I was sitting cross legged on a desk at the back of the class, away from everyone else.

“Naruto, why don’t you sit still” Sakura suggests.

“But why is the teacher for our group the only one late?” Naruto asks.

‘Cuz he’s Kakashi, that’s why. I tell myself.

“All the other groups went somewhere with their teacher already and Iruka sensei already went home.” Naruto exclaims.

“That’s not very important.” Sakura says, annoyed. She glances up at Naruto.

“Hey what are you doing, Naruto?” She asks.

“Making a trap, what else.” I say as I put my phone away. Kakashi should be here soon.

“Why must you have such annoying teammates and a late teacher?” Kiki glares as she sits in front of me, in her human form. I just shrug.

Sakura walks up to Naruto, putting a chalkboard eraser on the doorframe. “It’s his fault for being late,” Naruto says as he jumps of the chair.

“Geez, it’s your fault if you get in trouble.” Sakura says, putting her hands on her hips.

“I doubt he will get in trouble.” I say. Everyone looks at me. Then their eyes dart to Kiki.

“I’ve been meaning to ask, who’s that?” Sakura asks pointing to Kiki.

“The names Kiki, now shut up pinkette.” Kiki says.

“What are you doing here?” Sasuke asks her. Kiki gasps dramatically.

“The Duck-Butt talks!” She exclaims, I can’t help but laugh.

Sasuke glares at her, waiting for an answer. When she doesn’t say anything, I substitute for her.

“She’s my guardian fairy.” I tell them.

“She doesn’t look like a fairy.” Naruto eyes her cautiously. Suddenly, Kiki transform to her fairy form.

“You were saying?” She inquires. Then she goes back to her human form.

“Now shut up, you annoying brats.” She snaps. The three quickly look away. Kiki smirks.

“You’re having fun, aren’t you?” I ask her. She nods, still smirking.
