Lily’s POV:
I yawn, stretching my arms up tiredly. Today was the day of the final exam at the Academy. Back at home, Naruto’s sad face made me cry. Imagine what it’ll look like here!
Maybe I’ll take him for ramen after to cheer him up. I think to myself as I get ready. As I enter the kitchen, I see Kiki already there making waffles.
“Waffles!” I cheer, as Kiki puts the plate in front of me.” Thanks, Kiki; I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“You would be in a mess.” Kiki tells me truthfully.
“True.” I agree,” Don’t you eat?” I ask her. What? I’ve never seen her eat.
“Fairies don’t need food. We’re like, immortal.” Kiki informs me.
“That’s so cool!” I say, as I finish my waffles, I put the plate in the sink, and slip on my shoes. Kiki turns back to her fairy form. Then I make my way to the Academy.

Walking to the Academy, I see Naruto. I run up beside him.
“Hi Naruto!” I say cheerfully.
“Hmm?” Naruto looks up,” Hey! You’re the new girl from yesterday, dattebayo. Err, what’s your name again?”
“Lily,”
“Oh, well hi Lily-chan, I’m Naruto. I’m going to become the Hokage one day.” He exclaims.
“I’m sure you’ll make a great Hokage.” I tell him.
“Arf! Arf!” I turn around and see Akamaru running towards us. I bend down and scoop him up in my arms.
“How ya doin’, Akamaru?” I ask, the pup, while petting his head. I see Kiba run up beside me.
“Oh, hi, Lily.” Says Kiba.
“Hey Kiba.” I greet him. “Hey, you guys ready for the Finale Exams?” I ask the two boys beside me.
“I’m gonna pass for sure. Dattebayo! Naruto cheers.
“I don’t know, I hope I pass,” Kiba says, unsure.
“I’m sure you’ll pass.” I assure him.
The Academy comes into view. I take a deep breath, As I enter the class room.

“Okay, Lily, your next.” Iruka-sensei calls. So far everyone has passed. Iruka sensei leads me to another room. Sitting there are some other sensei’s and Hokage-sama.
“Okay Lily, show us the Clone technique,” Iruka-sensei asks.
“Okay, Lily-sama, show them what I taught you.” Kiki whispers, before flying off my shoulder. The sensei’s seem surprised as they see Kiki. I take a deep breath. And make the required hand sign.
“Kage Bunshin no Jutsu,” I mutter. About 10 clones appear. We all put our hands on our hips. “Done,” We say at the exact same time. Then I make the clones’ poof away.
“Very good Lily, you pass.” Iruka sensei congratulates me, as he hands me a Konoha forehead protector. The band part is black.
I thought they were supposed to be blue. Oh well.
I tie it around my waist like a belt.
“Good Job, Lily-sama! I knew you could do it!” Kiki says cheerily, as she sits on my shoulder.
“Thanks Kiki.”
“Lily, tell Naruto he’s next” Iruka-sensei calls as I leave. I just nod my head.
I see Naruto, waiting impatiently in the class room.
“You’re next,” I tell him,
“Finally” as he leaves.
“Good Luck!” I call after him. He nods as he makes his way to the examination room.

“How did you do,” I ask Naruto as he exits the exam room.
“I failed,” He mutters sadly. His face! I’m going to cry!.
“Aww Naruto,” I hug him, trying to comfort him. “ Do you want to go get some ramen?” I ask him.” My treat.”
Naruto shakes his head. “I just want to be alone right now.”
“Well, okay.” I say. “Well, remember, Iruka sensei means well.” I call after him, as he leaves.
I start to leave as well. I smile as I remember, how tomorrow is going to be like.
I wonder what team I’ll be on.
