As I woke up I only two things on my mind! And that would consist of one why is Connie's foot in my face and two Charlie Conway.
I shook Connie awake "Connie wake up" Still shaking after like 20 hours of this she finally woke up " Well good morning sunshine good to see your finally awake what did you dream about? My brother" I questioned the smiling girl "Oh how you know everything Taylor"she smiled "Well what can I say I'm one of a kind" I told her "Well what did you dream about miss one of a kind! How about let me think Charlie Conway by chance" she asked as I rolled my eyes"I'll take that as a yes.
As we ran downstairs to get breakfast the sweet smell of waffles and bacon filled our noses "Good morning mom"
"Good morning girls"
As me and Connie sat down and mom handed us our plates "Hey mom can you drive us down to meet the team we're seeing our New Jerseys I'm so excited!" I squealed
Mom had dropped us off at the rink as me Connie and Guy walked in and sat down and watched as the rest of the team piled in and soon enough so did Coach and Tibbles.
Tibbles pulled this big sheet tarp thing off a huge Wheatley's box and when I say it's huge I mean huge "Hey y'all that's us" Dwayne said
"No way"
"Really I hadn't noticed"
"Today it's Wheatley's box's tomorrow it's lunchboxes backpacks the sky is the limit" Tibbles told us " Now try on one of these" As he pulled out a jersey "Brought to you from those wonderful people at Hendrix for all your hockey needs Fulton there you go" As he threw Fulton his jersey "Come on everybody I'm not gonna give 'em out come get your own" we were told so we did as I was going to get mine I see Charlie looking at me so I smiled to him in which he returned the favor but he wasn't getting up so I figured he wanted me to grab his jersey in which I did
"Here Conway figured I would grab it for you"
"Thanks Germaine Jr I guess but aren't you a little mad they aren't ducks colored or anything" He had asked the girl
"I mean I guess but we are team USA now we'll be back to our old colors and ways in no time but what's got you in your feels anyway Conway"
"Nothing I'm perfectly fine"
"Whatever you say" I told him walking away still wondering why he ain't being mean
I met back up with Connie and we changed and walked outside for our first school lesson
"Ancient Greece was the beginning of western civilization"
"See in Greece they didn't have professional sports or wheaties box's so the athletes competed for another reason anybody know?"Miss McKay asked
I raised my hand so did Charlie as I crossed my fingers she would choose me can you guess who she chose Me! "Pride" I said sticking my tongue out at Charlie
"That's right the various city states waved their flags and wore their home colors proudly"
"Did America always dominate?" Fulton asked confidently which made everybody add their comments like
"Fulton"
"Are you serious"
Or coming from Dean "it was a good question"
"No America wasn't around back the don't forget that compared to other countries America is still young and still forming its own identity" Miss McKay told us
"America is a teenager just like you"
"Like us?" Jessa asked
"You bet"
"A little awkward at times but always right there on the verge of greatness"
Which at the end of the day we were skating down a road behind Coach in a golf cart chanting

We chanted as we skated down the road it was all fun in games until Goldberg fell into Guy who fell into Charlie who fell into me which made Banksie boy topple over me it was just not a good time. So me and Guy rushed home as fast as we could so we could finish up all of our packing before we leave tomorrow. As I walked into my room and set my suitcase by the door I decided to go take a shower and go to bed.
But I just couldn't sleep I couldn't take my mind off of Charlie Conway and I don't why!
