I woke up and decided to take a shower and get dressed I decided to put on a pair of mom jeans with a black undershirt and a tan brown flannel with my black converse.
Me, Guy and mom were currently on our way to go pick up Connie and go to the airport. We got to Connie's house "Hey Con are you ready?" I asked her squealing out of excitement "I am so ready and excited to compete not so much for the jet lag"
"I understand you there girl"
As we spent the rest of the car ride just talking about how excited we were and before we knew it we had arrived.
We all had our suitcases and met up with the rest of our team to figure out where we were sitting. As I walked to my seat I was crossing my fingers I was sat with Adam Avermen Connie or even Guy for that anybody other then Char-! "Please tell me I'm seeing things and your not real"
"Come on Tay i knew you dumb but not this dumb! Of course I'm real" Charlie told the girl
"I was being sarcastic idiot" she told him while rolling her eyes and sitting down
Connie got sat with Guy and they sat behind me and Charlie lucky them.
I pulled out a book as soon as we took off I was gonna attempt to not talk to Charlie
So i read Pride and Prejudice I got to about chapter two before Somebody just had to ruin the peace "So what you reading"
"Why does it matter it doesn't concern you"
"Hey no need to get an attitude I just asked" he told her
"I don't have an attitude your just trying to fight"
"Your such a brat it's never your fault is it Taylor it's always everybody else"Charlie fought back he was done giving into her
"Oh I'm the brat look at you always getting what you want by making everybody feel sorry for you" she told him raising her voice
"How do I make-"Can you guys stop fighting for two seconds god some people are trying to relax on this flight so can you please just sit there and not yell" Guy yelled cutting Charlie off which made the duo look around seeing that the whole team had been watching them fight.
Oh how this is so not going to end well for anybody especially not for Taylor Germaine and Charlie Conway!
So therefore the rest of the 4 hour flight Taylor read her book not taking one singular blink at Charlie. Once they arrived they had the rest of the day to get settled into their hotel rooms. Now of course the girls all shared a room which gave Connie Julie and Taylor the chance to all get to know eachother. There were two beds and a pull out couch which they had flipped a coin for who had to have the couch Connie lost which she said she didn't mind. "So Julie seen anybody on the team you think are even a little bit cute" Connie asked of course "I'm not sure yet I mean I don't really know anybody ya know but what about you guys" Julie asked questioning the two girls who were unpacking "Well Connie's with my brother and me I'm a free soul" Taylor told her
"Not completely true maybe Taylor doesn't have her eye on anybody but somebody has their eye on her" What is Connie getting at Taylor thought
"What are you talking about woman"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about that fight on the plane earlier"
"Oh yeah what was that about"Julie asked confused
"You know same old same old fight this has been happening since pee-wees ever since Larson he knows what he's doing" Taylor told them trying to get them to understand what this really was
"Look Taylor I understand but what it is what I think and he's just trying to take his feelings away by being mean"
"I guess we'll figure it out if it comes to that time then huh"
It was getting dark outside but I needed some fresh air so I decided to go for a quick little run to get me tired and to let my mind relax. I made it out side and started running for a few before I decided to take a break and sit on a bench for a second before I hear footsteps behind me before I could turn around I heard a voice.
"Hey are you okay"
"Why wouldn't I be" the girl told him after realizing who it was
"Look Taylor I just want to apologize I didn't mean anything I said I was just mad and said the first thing that came to mind" Charlie said
"I know I'm sorry too I let my feelings get the best of me" she told him reassuring that it wasn't completely Charlie's fault as they sat there for a few seconds of silence just looking at the stars for the first time they sat there together for more than 5 seconds without fighting.
"I just wanted to come say sorry before our game tomorrow cause I didn't want even more bad blood on the ice then we already do"
"Understandable Charlie but I can promise we can hate off the ice but we're a team on it no bad blood comes in between that we're not in pee-wees anymore." She told him
"Ok good to know Taylor well I'm gonna head back you wanna come with" he asked questioning the girl
"Nah I'm just gonna stay here for a minute"
"Don't stay out too late"
"Okay dad"
As she watched Charlie walk away all she could think about is how not even a few hours ago they were screaming their heads off at eachother to now they were sitting there talking like normal people maybe this trip won't be so bad after all.
Taylor decided to start heading back once she made it back to her room Julie and Connie were asleep so she decided to go take a quick shower and go to bed with not one last single thought of anything else!
