That same night Charlie had carried Taylor to her room. Laid her down and covered her up told the girl goodnight even though she would hear it and was off to his room.
Taylor wasn't exactly sure of the events last night for one she was too tired to remember last night but she was even more to tired to think this morning.
Julie shook Taylor softly awake so they could get ready to go to class
"Why do we even have to get up" Connie asks groaning
"We have to or else we wouldn't be eligible to play you know this" Julie stated
"Maybe it isn't even worth playing anymore guys I love you guys and all but with the way coach is right now it's a little too much right now don't you think" I told them as they both stood there shocked
"Taylor hockey is your pride and joy you've talked about playing for Team USA in your sleep what are you going on about" Connie confused asked
"I don't know never mind" I told them shaking my head and going to get dressed and that conversation was left to that
We were all slowly walking to class when Charlie gently pulled me behind the group a couple of steps
"Hey Tay you doing good"
"Yeah Charlie I'm good what about you"
"I'm here you know"
I just nodded my head as me and him walked the rest of the way beside each other in a comfortable silence
We arrived to the small classroom and there I sat Charlie on my right and Adam on my left. I promised myself one thing walking into this classroom I was NOT going to fall asleep no matter what it took.
Class started we were barely even three minutes in and a few people had already fell dead asleep but others tried there hardest to stay awake including me
"Not my best..." Luis was mumbling in his sleep when Mrs McKay walked over to him shaking him gently to wake him up
"Luis" she said this was probably like the third time she had woken him up
"Sorry" he told her
"What is going on with you guys why so tired" She asked to nobody in particular
"Captain blood ran us ragged last night even gave Taylor a little extra cause her being her annoying self couldn't keep quiet just for a few seconds" Guy told her rolling his eyes and shaking his as Mrs McKay looked at me
"Look it ain't my fault he was just in a mood and I just happend to be buddy's first target" I told them shrugging my shoulders
"We'll all of you guys go back to your rooms and rest practice is canceled today me and Coach blood are going to have a nice little chat"
That was all she had to say before we were all gone
We were all walking as fast as we could well not me I was to tired and it was cloudy and starting to sprinkle so I was trying to enjoy it
So here I was walking alone at like 10 in the morning with a dark rain cloud which seemingly followed my every move I was real close to just laying down on a bench and calling it a day but before I could find a bench I was pulled out of my thoughts and I literally mean pulled
"Hey you still doing good"
"Why on earth do you keep asking me that"I asked
"Because believe it or not Taylor I happen to care about you" he told me
"Charlie spoiler alert you really could care less" I told him with a small laugh
"Swear on my life Tay hate to burst your bubble but I like you" he told me with a serious face
"Can't say I'm surprised a lot of people like me kinda a little not really I'm kinda hated now that I think about it"
"You are a pretty hated person Jr Germaine can't lie but I'm not one of those people"
"Make sure to come back in 4 to 6 business days and give me the same answer" I told him laughing at my own joke and yawning
"Are you that tired"
"Are you that dumb you try staying over for like a bagillion extra hours doing sprints after the hardest game of your life and come back and tell me if your tired" I gave him the "Duh" look
"Okay okay jeez I understand come on I'll give you a piggy back back to the hotel and then your gonna have to make Adam start carrying you everywhere cause I'm tired too ya know"
I rolled my eyes and jumped on his back we were off to sleep for as long a team USA hockey player could sleep
