Chapter 34: The Awakening of Tulak Hord

Emperor Draconis stood in the heart of the ancient Sith temple on Onderon, the Holocron of Tulak Hord cradled in his hands. The dark energy of the artifact pulsed through him as he contemplated its power.

Suddenly, an eerie presence began to manifest within the chamber. Shadows coalesced, and a spectral figure emerged. It was the Force spirit of Tulak Hord, the ancient Sith Lord himself, awakened by the movement of his Holocron.

Tulak Hord regarded Draconis with a mixture of curiosity and malevolence. "You have unlocked my Holocron, young one," he spoke, his voice echoing with a chilling resonance.

Draconis's interest was piqued. "Soul-consuming? What does it entail, and why should I seek it?"

Tulak Hord's spectral form seemed to ripple with dark amusement. "Soul-consuming allows you to consume the life force and essence of your enemies, replenishing your own strength and power. It is a devastating ability that can make you unstoppable."

Draconis considered the implications of such a power. "But why should I seek out the Holocron of Lord Kallig for this ability? What connection does it have to soul-consuming?"

Tulak Hord's spectral visage contorted into a sinister smile. "Lord Kallig, my rival, possessed knowledge of this ability. His Holocron holds the secrets to mastering it. Seek it out, and you will complete your training in soul-consuming."

With a final, cryptic warning, Tulak Hord's spectral form dissipated into the shadows, leaving Draconis with newfound knowledge and a tantalizing path forward.
