Chapter 7

The next two days I spent working on the Rajawat case . We didn't tell maa and bhabhi the true reason for fainting. We told them it was due to fatigue and dehydration.

Maa has been on her toes since then. She has been giving me all healthy food. Every one hour she'll come with different kinds of juices and fruits. Some of which tastes horrible especially the mixed vegetable juice yuckkk!! Which I just throw in the sink!

I'm working on my laptop presently . After returning from hospital Mr. Shivansh called me .

Flashback (phone call between Shivansh and Yuvanika)

Y: Hello

S: Hi Miss Rajput. How are you feeling now?

Y:  I'm fine. Kuch kaam tha Mr. Rajawat?

S: umm nhi wo ek baat batani thi ki aaj Mr. Amarjeet k account mei 4 crore transfer hue h company se. To aap dekh Lena Mai details send kr dunga . Aur wo  you don't have to be so formal you can call me by my name.

Y: huh?

S: I mean you're quite comfortable with Rahil and I mean wo you calling me Mr.Rajawat makes me feel so old so.....

Y: (laughs) Rana sa it is then! You're the king and I don't want to disrespect you in any way so let's make it Rana sa. And Rahil is almost my same age so I call him by his name but he also insisted a lot after that only.

S: (giggles) ok Rana sa it is then! Thank you Yuvanika take care!

And he cut the call making our lawyer sahiba's heart flutter.

Now, I think I have to give a call to Rana sa and let me tell my delulu audience it's for work!

I dial his number which is still saved as "Mr. Rajawat 1 " hihihi

He picks up at 3rd ring and came his rude voice, " Speak"

I was shocked for a moment and said, "Hello ?"

He seem to have recognised my voice and said, "ohh sorry yes Yuvanika hello"

Did he not save my number? I thought

But keeping my stupid thoughts aside I asked, "Did I disturb you? Shall I call later ?"

He replied, "No No wo Maine dekha nhi kiska call h bas utha lia isliye."

"Bina dekhe kaun bewakoof phone uthata h", I murmured.

His voice came from the other side, "Huh? Kuch kha?" And I panicked for a moment if he heard me

I quickly changed the topic, "Nhi nhi wo Maine case k baare mei kuch baat karni thi"

"Ji kahiye" came his polite reply.

So I started with the Mahabharat, "Ok mr. I mean Rana sa ! Seeing all the available evidence it doesn't look like Mr Amarjeet is doing such huge transaction to overtake the company or something. It seems he is using company money for some personal reasons . If we could get his bank transaction records it would help in determining the truth. And can you arrange his family's details by tomorrow? And may I come to the company tomorrow for the follow up ?"

"Yeah sure! I'll arrange the details and send it to you. And we're free at 5 in the evening so you may come then." He said

"Ok sure thank you", I said

"Hmm Good night "

"Good night" I said with a nod as if he can see me!

The next day , I went to my office with Bhai and bhabhi as I didn't want to drive. And with maa's special instructions for me and bhabhi to eat well and take care. And well Bhai ko kuch nhi kha q ki " tu to waise bhi apne employees ka sukh chain khate hi rehta h so no worries!" , mom's words not mine!

I reached office and was getting bored cause I don't have any other case to work on. Usually we handle a few cases together but because this case involves the royal family and the most powerful Business Empire, Ravi Sir has asked me to work on it only.

So I helped my colleagues and went to see the room for interns where everything was set up for their work.

It was lunch time so I had Chole bhature while watching "Chennai Express" cause SRK is loveee!!

At around 4:45 in the evening i left for Rajawat 's . Our offices were nearby only and I didn't want to waste my precious on money on transportation so decided to walk.

If took me nearly 20 minutes to reach there by foot specially because of my heels!

And it seems to have been a bad idea cause my legs are paining and I'm sweating yucckk

I waited outside the building for a few minutes to relax myself. But suddenly it hit me what if the asked about last time when I fainted in their office!

'ugggghhhhh !! Hey bhagwan ooo haa puchenge to bol dungi it's personal hihi haa yhi krungi' I talked to myself .

'Yuvanika behave ! Be serious' I chidded myself.

As I turned around to go inside the building I slammed on a wall!

A pair of hands came on my shoulder to stabilize me! I looked up to see Rana sa there !

"You're good?" He asked

"Haa sorry wo I didn't see you " I said embarassed

"Its ok you're here for the meeting right?"

"Of course" kisi ko shaukh thodi h aapke office k bahar mandrane ka!' I said and last part in my mind

"Actually I have been observing you're pacing for half an hour here but didn't come inside so ..." he said playfully.

" Are you by any chance teasing me Rana sa" I narrowed my eyes at him with a smile playing on both our lips.

"Maybe but for now let us go inside I'm sure your legs must be paining !" He said

I gave a sheepish smile and made our way to his cabin.
