Chapter 14

2 Months later

•Yuvanika's POV•

"Di yaar uth jao jaldi subah k 8 baj rhe! Guest bhi aana shuru ho gye h ab to uth jao yaar! 11 baje se Puja bhi shuru ho jayegi phir uthoge kya?!" I could hear my cousin Manvi whining. [Di wake up it's already 8 in the morning! Guests have begun coming and at 11 the puja will start! Will you wake up after the puja ends?!]

"Oiii! Muh bandh kr apna tu to raat ko jaldi so gai thi saari taiyaariya kisne ki h! Maine! Subah k 4 bje soi hu mai yaar! Nikal yha se!" I scolded and went back to sleep!  [Hey! Shut up ! You slept early but I was the one was busy doing all the preparations! I slept at 4 in the morning! Now go away!]

But as soon as I slept another voice startled me and this time I opened my eyes to see my parents standing there with a nervous smile. Papa came beside me and I snuggled to his chest while he caressed my hair.

He said," Yuvanika ek baat karni thi" and I sat straight and my sleep is gone because he called me in such a serious tone zarur kuch baat h. [Yuvanika we wanted to talk about something]

Dad looked at Maa and she said," Wo Suhani ji aai h aur wo tujhe dekhna chahti h" [Actually Mrs Suhani has come over and want to see you]

Kyaaaa?!

I whined," Aree yaar ab unko kya h!" [What's with her now!]

"Wo apne bete ka rishta laai h tere liye. Aur wo log ekbaar tujhe dekhna chahte h." Maa said [She has bought marriage alliance for her son with you. That's why they want to see you once.]

Mai! Shaadi! Aur wo bhi us ganji churail k langur jaise bete se! [Me! Marriage! That too with that mad woman's langur son!]

I started my Oscar winning drama and with teary eyes I sniffled a little and said," Us langur se nhi karni mujhe" [ I don't wanna get married to that langur]

Papa said dramatically," Haa thik h to Maine bhi meri chaand si beti ko kisi langur ko nai Dena" Making me giggle. [ Yeah ik and even I don't want my moon like daughter to marry a langur]

I didn't even wash my face nor comb my hair. Looking all jungli I served them water and went to get ready for the day.

Well you all might be thinking what is the special occasion. So I am at my Maternal uncle's house as he bought a new house and today is it's Puja. It's in Jaipur and we came here day before yesterday. We'll leave today at night after the puja and all.

I got ready in a yellow Anarkali paired with jhumka and multi-colored Bangles. Applying eyeliner and lipstick, I left my hairs open. Adorning my feet with a simple payal I am all done! I sent Shivansh my picture and a good morning text. He hasn't even seen the message yet. Maybe he's busy because today he has a very important meeting with some foreign clients. I texted him all the best.
