"Okay, are you sure nothing is destroyed, you are not hurt and Henry has all of his vital organs?" Brian spoke on the phone with his sister at the other end of the line, stopping himself immediately as he remembered the terms between the two best friends at the moment. Amy closed her eyes and clenched her jaw, trying not to snap at him. She was hurt by this whole thing with Henry, Henry was her other half, the person she could tell everything too, her pillar. And she felt betrayed by him, in the most horrible way. "Um... Okay, I've got to go. Be safe and don't do something I would not do."

"I do many things you would not to Brian, calm down and enjoy your stars or whatever." Amy replied as she took a puff from the cigarette in her hand, exhaling it slowly, playing with the smoke.

"Astrophysics conference, thank you very much." Brian corrected her, ready on the other line to go. He had left the day before to go to this Astrophysics conference leaving Amy all alone at the house. Well, not exactly alone as she had many... Propositions for company.

"Yea sure, I agree." She said making her brother frawn sadly at the other end, knowing his sister was not in the best mood and that she needed her bestfriend.

"Goodbye, Ames. Love you." Brian said, Amy returned the goodbye with not much interest before she put the phone on its place, going to lay back on the couch where she had been laying before her brother's phone call.

Amy didn't even realize when she had fallen asleep but one thing she knew is that she woke up by the sound of silent cries. The cries someone tries to hide because they don't want others to hear them. She slowly opened her eyes and staring at the other end of the couch there was a known figure, crawled under the end of her blanket. She was terrified for a moment but as she stared at it a bit better she realized that she knew that figure.

"What do you want...?" She asked, the mad part of herself wanting to stay mad, the loving part of her self wanting to hug the figure and comfort it.

"I'm terrible..." The muffled voice replied through its cries.

"Hell you are..." She said, the mad part of herself winning at that one. "What happened?"

There was a pause, none of them saying anything more as silence fell over them.

They knew each other all too well to be in need to say more stuff. They understood each other even when words were not enough.

"I'm stupid." The voice replied once again.

"If you wait for me to disagree it's going to be a long night." Amy said snuggling closer into the blanket, feeling a bit cold.

"Bitch."

"This I am."

"She left me..." Henry said after some moments of silence. Amy was not even surprised. Nor was she mad. She couldn't stay mad at him as he moved from his corner and fell on top of the raven haired girl needing her comfort. She hugged him, reluctantly at first, as he sobbed and cried. She was sure, the moment Henry told her about this girl that she would have to do this sooner or later.

"Wanna go break her car?"

"No, I payed for half of it." Henry stated through his crying and Amy was convinced to go break it at that moment and make the bitch regret that she played her best friend twice.

"Idiot..." She said and silence fell between them once again.

"Why are you not with Roger?" Henry asked, lifting his head to look at his best friend, finding Amy unprepared to his question.

"Why would I be with Roger on a Friday night?" She tried to shrug it off, play it cool when something inside of her was breaking a bit at the mention of the blonde boy. Oh she hated him, but she missed him at the same time. She was disgusted by him, but craved his attention all the more. A drug he was.

"You know what I mean, Ames." Henry said as he sat up, facing the girl, looking directly into her grey eyes. Oh, he knew her. He knew her better than she even knew herself, and right now he saw his best friend suffering, fighting what she truly wanted because she was stubborn.

"No. No, I don't frankly. Apparently I don't know everything that is going on inside your brain..." She said, making a snarky comment about Henry hiding the truth from her about his girlfriend.

"Oh, shut it will you?" Henry scoffed and put his hands over Amy's mouth just as she was about to reply to him. "No, listen to me. I made a mistake. A terrible one, and then I made another one by not telling you. But you know, you are not turning this to me. Not now. Why aren't you with him Ames? My best friend would have gone and would have fought the living fuck out of him and then fight to be with him. She would have gone and say some very, very unholy things while drunk to him. She would have lived it out, Ames! Make the fucking mistake, what do you care about? Go and fuck up your brain, do stupid stuff that you will be embarrassed about. Expose yourself. Make. The mistake. With him."

Amy stared at him for a good couple of seconds before she stood up and marched out of the living room, leaving Henry sighing, dropping to his couch, mad that this hadn't worked out.

In a couple of moments, Henry heard some running steps down the stairs and before he could process them Amelia walked in, dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a beige strapless, croset top, bag in her hand and a red lipstick on her lips.

"I am a fucking magician, aren't I?" Henry grinned to himself the sight of Amy.

"Oh, you are fucking idiot because I am about to make a terrible mistake, but once you do, you are buying drinks."

"Bet I do, witch." He jolted up and the pair of them left from the house laughing, happy to finally be with each other again.

"First stop, we go to Roger's, then we go at whatever bar you can think of and have the drinking of our lives!" Amy said excitedly as Henry cheered, already getting out a bottle of alcohol from under his seat at the car, making Amy look at him in awe.

And they had only just started
